Carl Weathers, known for Predator and Rocky, dead at 76 RIP He was great as Apollo Creed. There are clips making the rounds today of his fight scene choreography with Sylvester Stallone. Just a great actor. He was recently in the Mandalorian as well and as good as ever. RIP. |

He was really good in the mandalorian as well. Gutted I love the Rocky films and I've seen Rocky 2 126 times.
I am on my third Boxer dog, the first one was named Bruno, the second one Rocky and I even named my current boxer after his character in the films Apollo.
Sad day.

Japanese boxer Kazuki Anaguchi sadly passes away aged 23 after losing on points on boxing day to a blood clot on the brain. Sad news for the family and sport.

Johnnie Irwin passes away from lung cancer aged 50. Tragically he leaves behind 3 kids aged 5 or under, life can be so cruel at times and this is one of them.

RIP Jack Jennings aged 104. Probably the last English WW2 prisoner of war to survive the infamous Burma Railroad and the brutality inflicted by the Japanese . Lest we forget.👍

Kelvin Kiptum aged 24 who holds the fastest time at the London Marathon and also the world record at 2:00:35 when he broke the previous one by 34 seconds has died in Kenya in a car crash along with his coach. I am sure he would have been the first person to go under 2 hours.
A real star of athletics has left us all too early.
