At the age of 75 I find this thread a little worrying. With so many people whose lives aged alongside mine now closing. Brings home your own mortality for sure. Every day without distress is a bonus now, l do pretty much what l want these days so mustn't gwumball. I was thinking exactly this as my end is approaching. Will death hurt ?- I don’t think so Will my family be ok without me ? -I anticipate they will be fine Was all the effort and anguish at times really relevant to being dead and buried knowing nothing ? - don’t know I just did what I thought was appropriate at the time |

Just to break with normal procedure on this thread, neighbours have just had their first baby who, one day, may develop into a star player for the O's. It's a long shot but you never can tell, she just might. 😁

Tony Green ex darts commentator and Co host of bullseye has passed away aged 85 after a battle with Alzheimer's. Don’t know about anyone here but bullseye was a Sunday staple in my house growing up as a kid. Great darts voice and iconic.

Tony Green ex darts commentator and Co host of bullseye has passed away aged 85 after a battle with Alzheimer's. Don’t know about anyone here but bullseye was a Sunday staple in my house growing up as a kid. Great darts voice and iconic. Still on TV now, repeats of course. Great to watch, especially the fashion and prizes. Liked Tony Green. |

Don’t know about anyone here but bullseye was a Sunday staple in my house growing up as a kid. Great darts voice and iconic. Still on TV now, repeats of course. Very sad to report the death of O’s great Mal Lucas who has died aged 85. He helped to form a great “ half back line “ with fellow Welshman Cyril Lea and the inimitable Sid Bishop during O’s promotion winning season of 1961/62. RIP Mal.  |

RIP Ian “ Titch” Amey aged 79- former lead guitarist of 60’s group DaveDee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch Back in the 60's I was on Holiday at Westward Ho holiday camp, Dozy was there with his girl friend she spent a lot of time trying to teacher him to swim, for some reason or other camp DJ seemed to play their records a lot. Don't know if she got him to swim, I returned home after first week |
