Couple of thoughts to hopefully provoke a discussion:
Its always good if opposition teams take the field worrying about how they might contain our players. I would like to think that Johnson, Ruel and going-forward-Brophy will give opposition managers real headaches.
(Jose excepted of course!)
By contrast, Mansfield are a well-organised team who will grind out enough points to be comfortable this season. But I didn't see anything from them that would scare me.
I don't think Brophy would have given away a penalty in normal times ie 5,000 fans in the stadium. That crowd noise you get ("man on!") would have alerted him to the danger half a second earlier.

Fair enough neasto, but surely that “man on” should have been shouted by his team mates

Not sure about the crowd noise ( or lack of it) bring behind Brophy’s error tbh. I’ve played and watched football for a long time and I’ve seen many instances where better players than him have made Inexplicable blunders much worse than that. It happens and the good players will move on from it and learn the lesson. I’m sure Brophy is in that category and will do the same. What is slightly more concerning in my eyes is (a) the number of goals we concede and (b) the propensity to give the opposition a head start. Not a recipe for sustained success imho. If Danny Senda has been hired to get the defence organised , then he needs to deal with the issue pronto.👍
