I'd argue that a back 4 of Brophy, Happe, Akinola and Thomas would probably give us the best "comfortable on the ball" rear- guard in FL2.
The end of hoof-ball perhaps? I'd love that!
Their defensive qualities is a separate topic but l would to see a back line who are good enough not to be rushed into things when FL2 forwards put them under pressure. Indeed, we've already seen Akinola and his mates pass the ball around whilst our forwards chased shadows (and soon got fed up with the futile effort).
I'd so love this to happen... Am l alone?

Roundly discarded by the pundits on Orient hour except Jamie would be excited to see something like it. I agree that this weekend's game at Barrow is too early, (A) for Thomas who is neither fit nor (probably) ready, and (B) For Tunji who will not have seen how it all goes together yet. However, going with a ball playing squad worked at Hartlepool (going back before the NL days) which left the home players saying they wished they could play like that. Fortune favours the brave - and all that!
