Think Vincelot will start.
However.. I'd probably go for Bartley over Ness in the first instance. Change it at half-time if necessary.

I really rate Romain Vincelot, a very good player, covers so much ground and never gives less than 100% . Hope he can play.

Ness for me. He has something about him and scored the winner against Celtic in an old firm game so he knows a bit about pressure games!

Agree Ness is very capable but travelling fans said Bartley put in a good shift (TV pundit talk) at Port Vale.
However. Think positive, think Vincelot get better and his injuries will go away. He will want to play.

Bloke has been stuck on 9 bookings for weeks now, not been himself and hasn't (to my mind) been fully fit. I am a great fan of his a Goliath in the middle of the park. Bartley, by all accounts, did ok last night. He was poor against Bristol City but he can put himself about but isn't as mobile as vincelot. Now he has signed on a perm deal Saturday is his chance to prove his worth, to come in and play well. Midfield is where it will be won or lost Saturday. I think we have the back four to manage Donaldson and our forwards whoever we play will cause problems. Brentford midfield are quality we need the 4 across midfield cox/odubajo/Bartley and James to be on the top of their game. I would prefer to see dagnall up front putting their defenders under pressure and dropping back into midfield if we need him to.

Dagnall, er. Never stops running and causes defence problems especially back passes to the keeper BUT I remember when he joined us Barnsley fans said he runs everywhere but with no result.

Don't think Romain has been at the races for a while now and probably could do with his two-game suspension / rest.
Ness does have some sort of spark about him but Saturday probably ain't the game to try that out. Bartley for me.
If Bartley can put in a shift like Griffith (his best game for us by far) did against Brentford last season, we'll be fine.

I suspect Vincelot will play, and will go in all guns ablazing knowing that he can take a yellow in this game ad sit out the next two to fully recuperate.
