This would be the table if you take the last 29 games from each team. Brentford 67pts Wolves 64pts Preston 55pts Rotherham 51pts Orient 50pts

All that matters is after 46 games. Just saying that we should not be too disapointed. If you take out our initial 8 match run you can see that we are not really automatic place contenders. Great chance in the play offs.

So if you take away Wolves 9 wins on the bounce neither would they. All teams have good runs and bad runs. With 9 games left we are still in with a shout of the top 2 i will take that.

Pretty weird opening post. That's like saying if you took the results from today we'd be joint bottom.

Don't take it to heart lesbest, I know where your coming from. There will be a lot of disappointed people on these boards, all with mixed emotions and probably engaging mouth before brain.Orient have been unconvincing since around chrissie time, too many stars gone of the boil at the same time. What will be will be,we'll get over it.

All that matters is after 46 games. Yes And when you look at the potential points left to play for (27 for us and 33 each for the Wolves & Brentford) the only thing you can say is that Wolves will end somewhere between 77 & 110, Brentford somewhere between 76 & 109 and Orient somewhere between 74 & 101. There are lots of ifs and buts between now and the last game (Shrewsbury yesterday holding Wolves to a draw for example) the one thing we can say with certainty is that Wolves & Brentford's financial padding will make some of them easier than we would find it. It's all still possible. Now "likely" or "probable" might be another matter but while our positivism behind the team has the potential to be a game changer, my glass remains half full

Any season whether your orient or Real Madrid will have ups and downs. The start we had after 8 games set us up that when we had our blips we would still be in with a shout of a top 2 finish. With nine games to go we are still in with a shout of the top 2!
Nobody would have expected wolves to draw yesterday or Rotherham. There are loads of twists and turns left yet in this and we will have ups and when we have downs it's how you react to it which is where I feel slade earns his corn. He generally gets the players up after a defeat.
My biggest concern is the lack of goals from the forwards. Lisbie 3 goals in 20 odd games. Mooney has been out injured and doesn't look as sharp naturally. Dagnall is busy and deserves his chance but needs to start finishing. Batt has had a long time out is a danger but when he starts after 65 mins he always looks shot even when he was 100% fit.
The last 7 games have yielded 2 goals from our forwards and this needs to be addressed because the back four and defensively we have looked solid all season barring halal in goal.

If Cristiano Ronaldo came in on loan though from Real would Slade play him over his 'favoured' personell?

If Cristiano Ronaldo came in on loan though from Real would Slade play him over his 'favoured' personell? Tbh even if he did play him we'd lose because the rest of the team are creatures of habit and don't respond well to "new toys in the playpen"

I don't know Lexi O, Orient's squad seem to have pretty normal hair in my opinion especially since Jakupovic cut off his mullett. I found this good early effort from Fabregas, which Orient player could pull it off I wonder? Slade?
