I like Akinola but it wouldn’t surprise me if tonight Ling comes in for him. Depends what Martin says.

Hey refugee, it seems mcnuff prefers ling to akinola, I guess like me he knows nothing about football. With reference to lings ability you failed to mention he is also brave , never shirks an aerial challenge and rarely loses one.

Half time Ling stats. Excluding clearance punts and headers (got those numbers too, nothing special) plus the odd poor cross, Ling has been on the ball and in space 18 time in the first half. 13 have resulted in backwards passes, 2 short sideways passes. 3 forward passes, one going into touch.
Carrying the ball forward! Forget it
Becoming noticeable again that as we move forward on the right, Ling is being ignored as an outlet. Especially from Clay. We are becoming a one sided team and so easy to play against.
I think it’s right to expect more. Hope he delivers more in the second half. He should try, it will surprise everybody.
