Soundbites from the interview include: - Slade says 'true' fans don't boo - he won't let it lie will he. - The team gave everything on Tuesday night - they're knackered so they can't give their all - 'We are all but in the playoffs' - talk about lowering your sights - the run in 'it's frightening' - that's good to hear from the manager trying to take you up

True. True fans don't boo. He came across very well speaking from the heart and you can see he has passion for Orient.

Sorry Endeavour, if you had only the so called 'true' fans coming to watch Orient you would have attendances of under 1000. For people to pay £20+ to come out to Leyton on a cold Tuesday night they should be applauded not berated by the management and owner. If everyone stayed away like Hearn said on Twitter I wonder how long before he was begging them to come back when the stadium is half empty. (I have never booed any team I have watched by the way - except when I used to get a free ticket to watch Arsenal sometimes but booing was encouraged there so no-one noticed I was a fraud - but I can understand people who express their unhappiness using the medium of oral dissatisfaction).

If their knackered why not do what most managers would do and rotate the squad and bring in the fringe players!! Do think the pressure has caught up with Slade, and have to agree with Kbola any supporter has the right to show his/her displeasure whether rightly or wrongly if they have paid to get into a stadium.

Russel has tried to play exactly the way a lot of teams in Orient's position would do --SAFE---and tried to play it according to the coaching manual(those that do it best win most games) unfortunately he has reverted back two and a half seasons since Christmas.Russ has taken the individualism out of the players and creativeness and long balls have come into it now.Unfortunately the forwards have forgotten how to score under this system.
