It doesn't surprise me 7 games without a win and your out. Lacks managerial experience not all club stalwarts make good managers. Has happened in non league last week at Boston Utd they sacked the manager after a run of losing games. I can't see the point of the following statement: "Everyone at the club would like to thank Danny for his hard work and dedication and wishes him the very best for the future," read a club statement. Clearly not everyone at the club shares this view otherwise they "the players" would have done their job and kept him in a job.

Colchester sack Manager/Coach Wayne Brown. Ross Embelton already there would seem the replacement.
National League has been calling Colchester for a couple of years. It has been convenient for us travelling but let face it, Colchester, is the worst stadium and facilities in the league. Hope they disappear.

On one of Col U's fans forums, some contributor wrote regarding Brown's departure.... "Leyton Orient are showing what can be done when you make the right choice". I make him spot on but I believe there's a lot more 'right' about our club than just that. In fact, it seems to be 'right' from top to bottom.

Will be difficult for Hartlepool to attract a decent manager but hope they can and wish them well, as I have a fondness for the monkey hangars.
Cardiff - who cares ?

Getting it right along the whole food chain so to speak. I believe we have again. Despite a few hiccups along the way. Col U could do worse than appoint Ross. I’d be happy to see him back in management, help the club survive and I’d definitely give him a clap on his return to Brisbane Road.

Would love that too, I maintain a sense that Ross has unfinished business in pro football. Probably a minority opinion but that seems to be the place I inhabit.

Colchester’s choice of appointing “ from within” has been little short of disastrous tbf. 7 managers in 8 seasons with McGreal the only one with any type of success. They need to break the pattern this time around I would think.

Iwould expect Commandant supremo capitan Stelling would have had something to do with the Pool gaffer getting the tin tac. I bet he can't stand being on Sky Soccer Saturday and his team 2nd from bottom Div 2. The rest of the panel taking the p,,s off air if they dare.

I think that suits him better nowadays.

Liam Rosenior “ relieved of his duties” at Derby County. Didn’t last long as manager but offered a spot coaching at the club. Not sure that will work too well based upon what happened at the O’s!🤔🫤
