Liam Rosenior “ relieved of his duties” at Derby County. Didn’t last long as manager but offered a spot coaching at the club. Not sure that will work too well based upon what happened at the O’s!🤔🫤 Wasn't his dad sacked by Torquay after 10 minutes?

Sure I read earlier that they've gone with a temporary appointment of Embleton, their previous manager Ball, and someone else

Luke Garrard of Boreham Wood is the name in the frame apparently. Would be a big mistake for both Colchester and RE if he was pushed into a HC role again.

I just read that Warne has been at Rotherham for 6 years, he led them to three promotions to and three relegations from the Championship. Whatever he achieves at Derby, it won't be boring.

COLCHESTER United report they are making 'good progress' in their hunt for Wayne Brown's successor. The U's state they have received nearly 100 applications for their vacant head coach role and could have someone in place next week.
Really 100.. ? Is there much unemployment in Colchester?

Give over? any chairman daft enough to take embleflop as manager needs his head examined Embleflop best he could hope for would be an NFL 3rd tier, even that would be stretching credulity.

I do believe that Ross will be a manager at a higher level. He took a lot of unnecessary stick on this forum.

Red sometimes you have to accept that you are good at a certain role, Ross in my opinion is a good and solid number 2 rather than a no.1.
He will I'm sure do well there as an assistant and certainly hope he does.

Maybe the offer of a position and Rosenior's refusal has an effect on the level of any compensation?

Maybe the offer of a position and Rosenior's refusal has an effect on the level of any compensation? Possibly but I think it is a bit more fundamental that that. Rosenior has said he sees himself as a manager and Warne has made it clear that if it had been left down to him, then Rosenior would not have been offered a place on the coaching staff. Not an ideal start for a working relationship I should have thought.🤔

Watford appoint Slaven Bilić, local news outlets here are all over this.... "don't do it" is the general message.
