It is proven time and again that clubs that do well and get promoted have the same manager in charge for at least 2 seasons.
Promotion is possible for any team with continuous above average level of investment (to put you in a good position) and managerial stability (the opportunity to get their philosophy across and the players they need).
If it doesn't happen for us this season it'll come soon if we stick with our top 7 budget and Richie.
On a different level, yes, but look at Arsenal this season. All those managers and players they went through. They've stuck by Arteta when things weren't going so great and look at them now.
And I can't stand Arsenal. But they've got this right.

Plenty of activity today! 1. Danny Schofield takes over at Doncaster Rovers only weeks after being sacked at Huddersfield 2. Graham Coughlan ( ex Bristol Rovers & Mansfield )takes over at Newport Co. 3. Steve Davis given the Wolves job on an interim basis until January 2023 after QPR boss Michael Beale turns down offer of HC role

Steve Gerrard sacked by Aston Villa most people probably know already.I rate him alongside Frank Lampard both a little bit out of their depth in the premier league I think most people could have won or finished top two in the Scottish premier league so basically he achieved very little as a manager before getting the villa job

Didn't Villa sack Dean Smith to get Gerrard? As far as I recall ,yes.
Gerrard should never have gone to Villa...Should have stayed in Scotland for a bit longer. I prefer Gerrard over Lampard, though. Just watched Eddie Howe celebrate winning at the Spuds... I thought he would manage to keep Newcastle up last season but he's doing quite well this season as well.A manager I like a lot.

Gary Caldwell appointed by Exeter City, a terrible choice in my opinion.

Ooh You Are Awful... But I Like You! remember seeing Dick Emery in a show on one of the Piers in Brighton in the sixties hilarious. Can't remember which Pier could have been the Palace Pier. I do remember one of the two piers had been fire damaged.

Does it count when Gary Neville sacks himself? Losing to us in front of oooh, a few dozen Salford fans, must've been the straw that broke the camel's back.

Southampton sack Ralph Hasenhüttl after almost four years in charge at The Dell. Another manager who fails and no doubt gets a wedge whatever is in his contract. We have had a disaster of a PM appointed who gets the tin tac and pockets in excess of 100 grand. There appears no incentive to succeed these days. If your a failure at the top table you are rewarded. Crazy world.

Crazy world. In fairness to Hasenhüttl he was working with very little £ ( in Premiership terms) and had next to no say in the players he was given evidently. On that basis I think it’s not unreasonable to say his 4 years at the club were not a complete failure. Looks as though the Saints are trying to attract Nathan Jones from Luton Town as his replacement. Interesting choice!🤔
