Wales seems to be the current “ hotspot” 😁 Perhaps Roy Keane can come to Mick's rescue and shed some ideas on team harmony, motivation and discipline amongst the players. Roy was very good at this when a player when Mick was manager for Ireland.

Yes, I’m sure Mick and Roy’s previous relationship will stand them in a good stead should they join forces to rescue the bluebirds - Division One here we come!😄😇

Nigel Adkins at Charlton must be getting worried. Adkins, McCarthy and Wellens @ Doncaster would be the ones who are in the greatest danger presently I should think.

Nigel Adkins at Charlton must be getting worried. My pal said they've really turned on him. He thinks he'll get them out of it though and as he said.. who else is there?

The “ who else is there” argument was one put forward at the time of Embleton’s appointment . Bit of a cop out imho. That said Adkins may well get Charlton out of trouble if given time. Becomes much more difficult however if he crowd are on your back.

They did the right thing in not advertising his job and promoting from within was the right and decent thing to do at the time.

Sorry to disagree Timmo but It was the reaction of many fans - if not necessarily that of the club - that there was “ no alternative” to Ross. I never believed that was the case either at the time of his interim appointment following JE’s death nor after the Fletcher shambles. Promoting from within is fine if the internal candidate is a strong one but that wasn’t the case here. All water under the bridge now and hopefully lessons learned.👍

The spuds manager must be looking at the sits vac column.Looks surprisingly out of his depth at this moment.Hopefully he will make the break through and get them playing like Wolves in the last couple of seasons. Spurs have been good for us with loan players,so I wish them well.

It seems that Flynn thought better of staying in charge until Monday!

Newport are 3 points off a playoff spot and 4 points off 2nd. Ok, their form has dipped but 3 of their last 5 games have been against sides now in the top 5. Seems very early in the season for this?

Flynn is arguably too good for Newport, they've punched above their traditional weight for the time he was there. I predict they will decline unless they can find a proper manager. Flynn will go on to shine elsewhere in all probability.
