Ainsworth has kept Wycombe above their punching weight for a long time, it will be interesting if he can meet QPR's expectations at a higher level, different budget and a different ball game perhaps. I do hope Ross gets the gig at Col U and makes a go of it but isn't a bit of a poisoned chalice at the moment? . Lot of money spent ( in relative terms) by owner Robbie Cowling recently in a bid to stave off the threat of relegation but I imagine he has been somewhat blindsided by Bloomfield jumping ship so is unlikely to have any immediate candidate in mind as a replacement. Personally I’m unsure if RE quite has what it takes to be anything more than a caretaker boss and he might be better advised to stick with the DoF role at which he seems to been quite adept so far. |

I thought RE was the loans manager at Col U, l could be out of date though. That was the role he was taken on to fill. Maybe ho got a promotion, not heard it though. Caretaker, got experience. If so hope it works out well. |

A job he seems to have done reasonably well at if the club’s January transfer window is anything to go by.👍 Another “ interim “ option would be Peter Taylor who has been managing Colchester Utd’s feeder team Maldon & Tiptree for the last 3 months or so. |

I know I'm gonna be controversial here, but I never like West as a footballer for the O's Promised much ,delivered little.Had a chat with him at a hotdog stand at Brentwoods Stadium.I was talking about him and saying what his wages were,he tapped me on the shoulder and said he wished he did get that much.I do believe he had the nickname My Lord,at least he did with the fans near me. |
