It comes down to accessibility and price.
If I think something is fair price and accessible I'll pay for it. I think Disney, Amazon Prime, Netflix all offer extremely good value. I think Spotify does too. So realistically that's practically all Movies, Series and Music catered for.
Now TV / Sky also offer good value if you can pick up a deal for the season, or a day pass (for boxing, a match, etc) that works out for you.
BT Sport I always look for an illegal stream. Because it's so bloody hard to purchase a legitimate stream. Same with BT Box Office.
I used to illegally download all my music and films via Torrent. But it just isn't worth it now because the other methods are more accessible, safer, and competitively priced.

Just watched on sky cinema a film called Bad Granpa staring Zac Efron and my favourite actor Robert De Niro. It's about a inpolitically correct road trip of a grandfather and grandson and I couldn't stop laughing. Proper funny.
IMDB rates it 5.9 out of 10 some People need to lighten up cos it was laugh out loud from start to finish. Proper funny humour, watch it cos you will be laughing out loud.

A new YouTube notice came in today for History Hit with Historian Dan Snow, and to my stunned surprise it featured a recent moment in the history of my state that made me very proud. It showcases the accidental archaeological find of a mass grave of soldiers from the UK and US at the site of the Battle of Camden, a colossal loss for American forces in the American Revolution. If you have any interest in forensic anthropology, the history of the common soldiers, and mostly US/UK relations and the deep respect many in my state have for the people of the UK, I highly recommend it.
It’s 36 minutes long, so I don’t want to mess up anything by linking it, but here’s the title: Forgotten Revolutionary War Battlefield Skeletons Discovered, Battle of Camden on the History Hit channel with Dan Snow on YouTube.

Any relation to Hampton Wick. Superb Cockney rhyming slang.

This week I've been mainly watching Norfolk Broads Vlogs and wishing I was there rather than here. I also came across an official 'What to do in a nuclear attack'(UK) broadcast from 1980. Not sure if it ever got aired but my god they didn't hold back. Hide your family and pets behind an upturned sofa for 2 weeks. Yeah that should do it! If it ever happened I want one to land on my head. P.S.

The last few days I've been watching 'Walk With Me Tim' on youtube. I highly recomend it if you like to watch someone walking around with a camera (sometimes with his wife) to destinations thoughout the world. He/they do lots of the UK including seaside resorts, Butlins, Pontins, Haven, Centre Parks, Clacton, Southend, Blackpool, Scarborough, Skeggy, Norfolk Broads, etc. Piers, Castles, Chip shops. Pathos in Cypress, Gibralter, Crete, etc. Also some in the U.S. of A, I think. I've been to many of these places and it's great to see (although many have changed dramatically over the years) certain things that I remember. Some including holiday camps (mainly Pontins) from when I was a kid. When we used to go to them they were near to brand new but now some look a bit rundown. I get the feeling though that with investment they might be on their way back. Maybe more of a cheap fun 3 or 4 days get away. Why not. In Pathos they showed the Pelican that's usually outside of the Pelican restuarant. If you've been there you've probably seen it. If it's the same one as I saw in 2006 it must be getting on a bit. I remember riding down the slope next to the Grand Hotel in Scarborough on me bike just before our play-off semi final. That's about all I can remember, and the sea of course. In my retirement I now fancy visiting all the seaside resorts and having a fish & chips in all of them. I'm seagul wise (canvey) btw, the pesky little so and so's. Not so little in Blackpool of course, they're ginormous.

Sounds like a plan, you could write a spreadsheet detailing the relative costs of a seafront cuppa from place to place.

If I said it sounds like a good idea but it doesn't work, is that a fair comment? I live in a former socialist state although it never was Warsaw Pact. Most people here of my age are wont to say "it was better under Tito" which is possibly true so long as you didn't disagree with him. Until recently the majority held the opinion that Tudjman and his Croatian Oligarchs and their Bosnian gangsters have stolen everything. These days, the old corruption barons have mostly been mopped up by the EU and things are progressing as well as could be expected. Not so in neighbouring Hungary where they are still in a Warsaw pact situation only the politicos pretend to be democrats ... Putin style.

Well I've just watched over a couple of journeys the Green Mile. Never seen it before either.
What a film that was, it is a cinematic masterpiece. How Stephen King wrote a book that's even better than film is beyond me.
One of the greatest films ever made.

When I was very young I remember hearing about Leysdown (Isle of Sheppey) as a holiday resort. At the time it sounded like a nice place to go. Do you want to ruin my childhood memories? In the 80's I had Speedway lessons at Iwade, Sittingbourne, which is very near to Sheppey and it did seem to be a bit bleak.

I want to watch The Covenant the new Guy Ritchie film. It's on Amazon Prime.
But my family are insisting on staying up late recently which is limiting my viewing time.
Maybe tonight after the boxing 🥊
