Really looking forward to this game should be some good football by both teams be interesting to see how Oxford react to losing their manager i feel this season games against thetop six or seven a kind of free hits for us and we should really give it a go a bit like the barnsley game

We need to accumulate points and we need to compete against the top teams if we are to develop. We must and no doubt will play with the intention of winning and be unhappy if we lose. Unlike the Pompey game, this one matters. There is absolutely no reason why we cannot win. Debacles like some previous games are no longer acceptable.

Oxford have an excellent away record and Brisbane Road is not the 'fortress' it was last year.
Should be an interesting game and one Richie and the boys I'm sure are looking forward to.

Oxford might've already done their thing, D L D W plus losing their manager, maybe we're playing them at the right time.
Whoops, just dropped one of my straws.

I always expect what we get, when we have uncontrolled wealth and a team that wealth buys I will expect a win every match.

No mean feat with only just trotters to use. I have plenty of more straws to clutch onto, if or when needed.

I assume you are referring to the early home games in the League against Portsmouth and Stevenage? In fairness our performances at home have picked up since then without ( Cambridge and maybe Barnsley apart) ever being fully convincing imho. Oxford will be a good test and, as you say, one we should go into with every intention of winning.

I imagine ex-O Sonny Perkins, on loan from Leeds, will be upfront for Oxford.
