I had a feeling that "should've scored" header missed by Pigott in the first few minutes would turn out to be key. You just can't miss them and stay in league one. All our forwards were dog shyte 'Fraid so.

It will be interesting to see how Wellens tries to spin this evenings result. All the weaknesses that have been obvious for some time came to the fore big time. Lack of energy, discipline, composure and forward movement . Very poor indeed.

All our forwards were dog shyte 'Fraid so. Not just the forwards. From Brynn in goal, to the defence, midfield and forwards we were absolute rubbish. Relegation fodder. No heart, no passion, no energy. The wheels have come off the wagon big time. At one point I really believed we had turned a corner and become a decent, mid-table league 1 side, maybe even flirting with the play-offs. I was wrong. Time to start looking at the table and hoping there are worse teams than us. Because we are pretty bad.

Trying to be calm .... the loss of incisive forward players means we just don't hurt teams enough. No Theo, No Agyei, we lost Smyth, McKirdy got sick. Ruel is OK ish but not dangerous enough, Aaron just chases down defenders but league one players just pass it round him. I like Pigott but he missed the most important chance of the game. Donut is right, I don't see any team worse than us at the moment and we have to watch the bully boys of Stevenage swanning about near the top. We're looking over our shoulders - downwards.

Lack of energy, discipline, composure and forward movement . Very poor indeed. We have had the 3 games in a week bolox. The lots of tiring travel excuse. The injuries excuse. So Lincoln who could claim all three of those excuses tonight did a job on us. They were poor but still the better side on the ball. Sadly as a team we have run out of ideas. A one trick pony that worked well in league 2 but just not good enough in league 1. Teams know how to play against us and know we don’t have the ability to really hurt them. Soak it up then apply the sucker punch. Tonight was a lesson in league 1 football.

Donut is right, I don't see any team worse than us at the moment and we have to watch the bully boys of Stevenage swanning about near the top. We're looking over our shoulders - downwards. The reality is that even with Archibald and Graham we didn’t do enough to hurt teams. Hardly free scoring when they played. Their loss means even the limited chances we produced have dried up. The problem is we play very negative football. Slow, backwards looking, focused on possession. Almost like we are afraid to attack. All too often we dick about then go for the long punt which routinely are dealt with by the defence or resort to endless passing across the middle giving the opponents plenty of time to get behind the ball to defend. We are devoid of ideas. Predictable. As we were under Ross. I don’t think we have bad players, just a bad game plan. Needs to change otherwise we will be back in league 2. Like I said before, tonight was more than the 3 points. It was about a performance in memory of the guy that died. Did we do him justice? No. And I don’t mean the result, the performance. I’m pretty disgusted to be honest.

We just don’t know how to hurt teams when we have the opportunity to do so.Even are set pieces offer no threat at all.In fact I think we need a coach for our set piece coach

I didn't watch the game, just the audio, so what's the answer, is it the forwards or the service to the forwards?

Well that’s a disappointment of a result.
The players are good enough and can cope with league one, we lack a forward of note that knows this level and can score goals. That’s been an issue for a couple of years now and we still need an out and out number nine in my opinion. Still on to the next game.

Well we had the chances to win this. Drinan through and only the goalie to beat and has a powderpuff effort. Sotoriou takes a ball which Forde was probably in a better position to bury and hits the goalie. Galbraith excellent effort and Jenson pulls off a great save. Few other half chances, but overall a poor game where we looked devoid of ideas.
