Just home, Orient certainly didn't deserve to lose but didn't deserve to win either.
Unfortunately as soon as this match was ordered to be replayed the result was coming

Not so much about the three points tonight but I honestly expected a full on energetic performance from us tonight given the significance of the game. Our performance is nothing short of a fecking disgrace. Im ashamed of the team and the manger (who got booked) tonight. Not much of performance in memory of the guy who died. The bed is wet with this one….

Bad day at the office but time to watch again and double down at the training ground.
We go again 💪💪

Just got home. My random thoughts. Sorely missed the creative energy that Archibald and Graham bring (and to think some game Graham pelters). We lacked a penetration wide and in the centre. I’ve never been convinced on Drinan. I thought we missed Piggot’s hold up play when he came off. Ruel played too deep to be effective. Hunt was getting grief from Ritchie middle of the second half. There seemed to be frustration in the team around 75th minute. Didn’t think we deserved to lose. Their keeper pulled off two amazing saves. Bryan seemed wrong footed for their goal. Good crowd for a midweek match. Enjoyed the game even if I didn’t enjoy the result. I thought we were two fairly well matched teams on the day.

Their keeper was certainly the busier but as you say around 75 minutes Lincoln were primed for swift counter attacks whilst Orient ran out of ideas. I didn't mind Ruel dropping deep like a poor man's Harry Kane but he needed to be in the box in order to finish one of the chsnces he has been popping up with this season

But this was the replay of the game where a guy died. Have you forgotten this? This was a game replayed and to a degree in his memory. A memory dignified by Lincoln. Win, lose or draw - no matter. But I hoped the team played in his memory like they gave a damn and the manager had enough about him to not get booked for poor discipline. They did not. Some things transcend football, this was one of them. I don’t care about the loss. I do care about what I saw as disrespect for his memory and for his family. You too should feel shame at resurrecting the bed wetting comments at this time. Have some respect for the memory of the guy who died supporting the club he loved for so long.

You don’t get to decide what is and is not respectful to the poor soul who died. Who the hell are you to create the sentiments and then judge everyone else by them? I found your comments regarding the performance and your perception of a lack of effort from the team, calling the manager a disgrace etc, saying they didn’t give a damn about the guy, over the top.

Positives from tonight : Gailbraith's little cameo and shot on target
Sol Brynn's Johan Cruyff impersonation
Brandon Cooper's yellow which gives me 3 points in the prediction table

Look at the Orient Facebook comments too. Reading now. Lazy, lack lustre, no heart. About right. And Richie’s post match comments.

It's a shame there's so many negative comments about the team tonight. They had several good efforts at goal and were unlucky not to get a couple. The counter-attack goal was almost a classic 0-1, home loss, cold night, 89th minute, injury-ridden, manager booked, grumpy-face gift. Someone said we were going to Orient it up, and we did.
Let's move on. We are not a rich club, it's a fan's club. We are new in this league, it's going to be tough. To stay up will be a result.
My only grump today is that Piggot got substituted, after being the best player on the pitch. Poor old Max didn't seem to know where to stand.
Wigan is a must draw.

When I do include others, as I have done so above, I say so. Hope that clears up any confusion you may have. And I do hope you’ve looked around at other peoples’ views of last nigh, including our tactful leader. I’m not alone regarding my opinion of the significance of last nights game. Indeed Lincoln and their gesture was pure class, one that transcended football rivalry. I hope you have reconsidered your opinion about bed-wetting. Now that, in my humble opinion just to clarify, was in bad taste and disrespectful. I am sure, in my opinion, the opportunity will arise in the future for you to continue with, what in my opinion, is a childish bed-wetting comment that you seem to get pleasure from.

You present things as ‘facts’ in a self righteous, and slightly pompous way, bags full of faux outrage and lashings of posture. When challenged you often trot out the ‘I used to be a company director’ or ‘Ive paid more Orient dues than you’ type comments. None of that matters. It adds no weight. Im sure im not the first to point it out, but if I am then I am glad to have been of service to you. No, I havent read facebook of the Dark Side. I have a monogomous relationship with this board. In my opinion your comments are ‘bedwetting’. Happy to praise the team during a promotion but not willing to do the hard graft when thibgs get tough. Its almost like you cant wait till we lose so you can vomit verb.

Listen to RW and his pre-match comment about us putting out a performance that Mr Reynolds and his family could be proud of. Exactly right! Then consider his post match comments about it being one of the worst games since he joined the club. Draw your own conclusion. Bringing up old history and personal insults don’t change a thing. You just got it wrong and are trying to weasel out of it. In my opinion of course.

Yes, we're new in this league but it's not exactly the Premier League is it? A lot of sour comments on the other board about none of the players being up to League 1 standard. It's the Third Division for goodness sake.
