I would of thought they would've stopped the game until the medics/ambulance took the patient away then restarted the game shortly after.
They wouldn't have declared death at the scene unless there was a doctor there.
I've witnessed at least 3 fatalities at events, 2 died in a aerobatic crash and another at Hackney Speedway, both in front of me. After a brief pause both events carried on.
I vaguely remember a couple of other deaths in the crowd at football or Speedway or whatever it was, again the show carried on.
I don't want to sound crass (as I say I wasn't there) but for those who were, with 8 mins of normal time remaining was abandoning the game the right thing to do?
But did Orient push to finish the 8 minutes or were happy to replay? Sadly the main take from verythunv is more questions than answers?
