Why are you calling people out on a forum? Pretty sad existence you must lead especially for someone of such advanced years as you style yourself. As I said: grow up. People who make comments should be able to explain what they mean when asked. It is not unreasonable to ask for an explanation. The problem is people roll out these sorts of things without a clue as to what they mean. A fact I think I have proven quite comprehensively. Maybe next time you will give some thought before you post or you just come across as someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about and need to resort to insults to cover up ignorance. It’s a common trait. Your insults are simple confirmation that you appear mouth and trousers. Of course the invite of an expansion of your comment still stands. |

As I have stated before, a top 20 finish would be acceptable. Above the drop zone is a decent result but being too close to that end makes for an unenjoyable season. Mid table is a really great season. |

Just got home. My random thoughts. Sorely missed the creative energy that Archibald and Graham bring (and to think some game Graham pelters). We lacked a penetration wide and in the centre. I’ve never been convinced on Drinan. I thought we missed Piggot’s hold up play when he came off. Ruel played too deep to be effective. Hunt was getting grief from Ritchie middle of the second half. There seemed to be frustration in the team around 75th minute. Didn’t think we deserved to lose. Their keeper pulled off two amazing saves. Bryan seemed wrong footed for their goal. Good crowd for a midweek match. Enjoyed the game even if I didn’t enjoy the result. I thought we were two fairly well matched teams on the day. Nah we were s***e through out the game. I nearly left early. I have never booed the team, slow hand clapped or left early through out my 50 years of support, that game tested me to my limits. Richie picked the wrong team. They are higher in the league, won more games, scored more goals let in less, Richie decides to rest our best players all in the same game, a recipe for disaster, he still ain't learnt ya don't drop your best players all in the same game and he gets booked yet again, if you were a chairman of a Prem team would you employed a liability as a manager. |

When our own fans ran on the pitch to get a match we were winning abandoned 8 minutes from the final whistle, I wondered why I was wasting my time and after Tuesday's dreadful game Ive decided to give Orient a rest for a while

I would of thought they would've stopped the game until the medics/ambulance took the patient away then restarted the game shortly after.
They wouldn't have declared death at the scene unless there was a doctor there.
I've witnessed at least 3 fatalities at events, 2 died in a aerobatic crash and another at Hackney Speedway, both in front of me. After a brief pause both events carried on.
I vaguely remember a couple of other deaths in the crowd at football or Speedway or whatever it was, again the show carried on.
I don't want to sound crass (as I say I wasn't there) but for those who were, with 8 mins of normal time remaining was abandoning the game the right thing to do?

Naturally Lincoln were more than happy to have the match replayed confident that they would triumph in a replay scenario. But did Orient push to finish the 8 minutes or were happy to replay? Sadly the main take from verythunv is more questions than answers? |
