Fortunately we are in a much better position points wise but there are echoes of the transfer window that ended Jackett’s time in the job. That was my initial reaction too. We forget under Jackett we hadn’t lost many games in the run up to Christmas ( too many draws) before sickness, injury and covid struck meaning we couldn’t even fill the bench. January was a disaster and KJ in all honesty lost interest and wanted out. He didn’t need us nor the hassle. I really hope history doesn’t repeat itself. RW is a top man. We are unlikely to get better. We know it and so do other clubs looking for a manager, clubs with bigger potential and budgets than us. If I was RW I’d be looking around. There’s big bucks waiting. Charlton might suit him.

Charlton might suit him. Let’s hope not. I’ve no doubt he would be snapped up right now but that would be sad. Agyie being out is a blow. But next season should be good when he and Graham are both fit, Sanders back to full fitness and a summer to deal with other building. The potential is definitely there and RW is the man to make it happen. A dilemma of the good kind for RW. Continue building at Orient or cash in and chase the bigger options. Another year building us and his reputation hopefully.

Wrong about jacket but you keep on talking rubbish along with red. Charlton have Nathan Jones taking over, so RW ain't going anywhere. If it came down to ling or wellens, bye bye ling in my opinion. like I said Charlton have now appointed Jones like I told you all.

We have a lot of potential for next season if we do our summer business well and early. If we can all stay together and be positive, it can be a very good season for us. Raw frustration aside, we all know the potential for next season.

If it came down to ling or wellens, bye bye ling in my opinion. like I said Charlton have now appointed Jones like I told you all. Charlton of course is an example of positions that frequently arise in football at clubs with far more resources and potential in the medium term assuming they get the right guy at the top, than us. We are limited by our capacity not by the ambitions of our owners.. These sort of jobs come along with monotonous frequency. Yesterday Charlton, tomorrow who knows. Even Slade realised that, wanting out to Barnsley. Ling or RW is a tough call. Ling is in it for the long haul. RW assuming he continues to develop the club will out grow us and move on. Which is quite right. Same reason we lose good players. Good people want to be all they can be and as much as I love our club I don’t see it as being the pinnacle of a managers ambition. For Ling, we probably are the pinnacle of his ambition and he won’t be looking to move on I suspect. Ling will stay.
