Don’t be so stupid , BAL played a good game ,they got their tactics right and pressed and pushed us whenever they could . They are fighting for their lives and have now had a few very decent results . Good luck to them .

We looked like kids tonight. The ref let all the argey-bargey go and that benefited them more than us. Taking Moncs off was questionable but Richie should've made changes earlier cos we looked like conceding for 20 minutes before we did. That's a massive wake up call tbh. Just confirms that we can raise our game against top teams but look sloppy against those we should be battering. We'll beat Oxford and Blackpool, draw against Wigan and Port Vale, then get slaughtered by Stevenage again. If your predictions are right, then we shall not be relegated!

Not to mention playing for our manager, our fantastic board and the fans who turned up in support. Burton were not the only team playing for a reason. Seen us lose before. Will see us lose again. But that performance was pathetic. Absolutely disgraceful. Embarrassing. No excuses. Shocking.

I think (hope) we can forget about relegation! In fact with Stevenage and Peterborough losing and Oxford drawing we're hardly any further off the playoffs than we were before this miserable match.

But we could have and should have been closer. Burton are truly a dreadful football team and if people can't see that, then they need to get down to specsacers.

I agree with Richie that we dominate teams and don't kill them off. We've been riding our luck in that department but it came back to haunt us today.

MrB you know we've had 5 shots on our goal in the last two games and we conceded 5. Not good enough.

The budget I guess will not stretch to an experienced Centre forward and a Free Agent looking for his last season and a pay off. Still able to score goals at Div1 level and doesn't mind mixing it when the game gets dirty.

Blimey..Can’t make comments on a game Of course anyone can, as can I. I just cant understand when we have so many injuries and have had such a great run. Give the guys a break. Theyre probably knackered from Tuesday night ffs I reckon professional footballers should be able to play twice a week easily 🤔

Looked like a case of injuries and fatigue catching up with us to me. If we'd had, say, Happe available, and they'd had a hard game on Tuesday too, we'd have probably got away with it. It's been a great run though and credit to Burton who are fighting for their lives.
Season isn't over yet but I think realistically any promotion challenge is over until next year.

Theyre probably knackered from Tuesday night ffs I reckon professional footballers should be able to play twice a week easily 🤔 You may be underestimating the amount of injuries that professionals carry all the time. Mostly they battle through them but they are rarely 100% fit and rested. Even when fully fit, it's a fine line between peak performance and being over the top.
The Northampton game was special, but draining. Don't know about you but I could hardly sleep afterwards and I was only watching! They have to get over it, nurse injuries and aching bodies and then turn out again four days later. Anyone surprised there was a bit of a reaction? They're humans, not robots, and only the most exceptional can sustain the highest levels week in week out.
My guess is we'll see a bounce back against Oxford. Season isn't over. Been fun so far, and there may yet be a twist in the tail.
