Our issues remain. Plenty of the ball. Plenty of corners. 2 shots on target and don’t recall their keeper having to make a save of any note.

Effort but easy save. Getting tedious now. Rovers just out muscling us. Tough game for the young loan players. We seem to want to overplay everything

Lost to a more savvy outfit on the day. Plenty of huffing and puffing but no real chances created throughout the game.

Half expected that tbh. Did alright but not enough. On paper we can afford to lose a couple and still make the playoffs, but:
- other results haven't gone our way today, even with Oxford losing. We're further off sixth (and fifth, and fourth, etc) and the four teams that were directly beneath us gained points.
- we're now 3-0-3 in the last six and our form suddenly doesn't look so hot.
- I saw nothing today to suggest we won't lose to Stevenage again. Largely because...
- defending and attacking set-pieces is slowly starting to look like a genuine concern again.
- I don't see anything in the two new loan kids to get excited about, unfortunately.
- one of far too many games this season where we look to be lacking experience.
Still 30 pts to play for though! 😁😬🫣

They are there for the taking, they are hesitant and making lots of unforced errors. They've created nothing all half and their play is uninspiring to me. We have to watch Simpson as he and the overlap have worked it well out there. We've had enough ball and in the right areas to do something. Ruel unlucky twice but other than that he is doing nothing just getting out muscled everytime like a man v a boy. We need to be more incisive in that final third as too many times we turn and go backwards mostly due to zero movement from anyone across the field. Richie has to get to grips as Bristol don't even want to it themselves. They were the taking but with Shaq losing his sparkle,Ruel running into players and depending on young and inexperienced players cost us.We never looked like scoring despite some pretty play. |
