It's a shame to be so dominant, especially in the second half, and get nothing from the game. They worked hard and done us proud.
Each time I've seen Edwards, he's just not doing enough for me. I just don't feel he's in the game. It may be an idea to stick him on the wing where he will get fed balls and will be in the game. Maybe then he'll rough it up a bit.
I don't understand why Piggot wasn't brought on earlier. We had so much advanced possession but no one to stick it on in the box. I feel Piggot would've been ideal today. I feel Piggot on around the 60 minute would've made sense, not the 87th minute.
I now feel the playoffs are just that bit too at a reach for us now. Even if this is true, watching the football we're playing and the effort the lads are putting in still makes each game a positive watch.
Oh, we need to shoot more. Even if it's just a handful more efforts a game, which isn't much, it may prove fruitful.

Dominant or not,the way the forwards were playing today we didn’t stand a chance..Outmuscled isn’t the word..Wrong passes, wrong movements etc…Also putting on those youngster just wasn’t going to work and as harsh as it may sound, they add nothing to the team..However I know things are desperate up front and we’ve got to play what we got..Not their fault

I have to say, the two youngsters are not yet ready for EFL1 football, l doubt they are getting much out of it either.

We didn't deserve to lose today.Once they scored they did nothing else but they defended well.I thought we played really well but oh how we miss Agyei up front. We didn't shoot enough when we were on the edge of their area but can't really fault the team today Bristol Rovers will know they were completely outplayed but that's football sometimes

17 shots and 18 corners compared to their 3 and 2. It wasn't going to happen, but not for lack of trying, apart from the generally poor quality of James's corners. Otherwise he played well, but last season he scored some great goals from distance, this season he's barely taken a shot.

I think Richie got it all wrong today.
Hunt should have started at full back from the get go. Lester should have started or came on a lot earlier than he did as Ruel was shocking today and was being pushed around like a little kid, he can’t play the number 9 role and whilst Lester has not delivered but maybe his presence would have made more sense against their big centre halves. James set plays were abysmal summed up with his left footer into the side netting, shocking. We played to slowly in moving the ball and too many times it allowed them to get men behind he ball. When we got to the final third, we wanted to walk the ball in the net instead of getting shots off when in good positions instead time and again we looked for another pass.
Shaq looks knackered and probably needs a rest. The two young lads still need time and training so I won’t be critiquing them.
Today was seriously frustrating.
What we were doing on the free kick I’ll never know, it’s the second time I’ve seen that happen this season and someone else said it’s happened three times now, whatever the number it is, the truth is it’s poor to concede from a set play like that.

Today they were on the receiving end of playing against strong experienced players. I guess they know a little more of what to expect when they are ready to step up. I really struggle with why Pigott was not brought on instead. At least he can mix it.

Just a mention for Sanders if he can stay fit he'll be a great player for us next season what a great midfield we'll have if we can sign Idris.A midfield of Idris Brown Sanders and Galbraith will be a joy to see

But I don’t think a great footballing side. Solid, organised, hardworking and gifted a winner. As a skilled team of footballers we are streets ahead. But and in my opinion as per usual, slow in the build up. All very pretty but not very effective. I would say we lost that game rather than Rovers winning it. Another frustrating game and one that bar a miracle has killed off our slim playoff chances in reality. It will take something special for us to make the top 6 from where we are, though not impossible. A bad day in the office. Too many of our players were just not on their game today.

Imagine if we can reloan Brynn. We keep the back line with a fit Happe and a stronger, wiser Sweeney. We sign Miz permanently and Galbraith and Sanders remains injury free, with Brown more experienced. Plus one more defensive midfielder if we don't keep Pratley. I'd like us to sign Forde, with a fit Graham, Agyei, O'Neal and Theo making a later return. Ruel is an engine and I'd keep him but I'd get another striker in. It does look promising. It should've been this season but hey ho.

They never looked like scoring before or after they actually did. This is a big loss to a poor team, who never actually believed they could win.

As the O's have dipped into the ex offenders pool of talent why not go again for a lucky dip centre forward on a short term contract until the end of the season.🏛

I applauded us, despite not playing great, for stopping Blackpool having a single shot on target on Tuesday. Today almost the reverse was true. Despite our dominance and a stupid number of corners, their keeper made just one, perhaps two routine saves. Call it what you like I’d say the way they set up to contain us was a site better than the way we set up to create chances. We could still be playing now and wouldn’t score.

I thought they had brief but very effective spells of excellent passing and movement, with short breaks. This looked like good football for me. They defended so well that we hardly got a look in. Sanders' shot and Piggott's effort at the end were our best efforts. We actually defended well too, except for that free kick.
