Cheers fisch..And still no sign of what league? Not to me but the set up is so convoluted and complex, l may be missing the in-yer-face bloody obvious. The FA womens national setup (FAWNL) only goes down to tier 6. We are not in any of them but we didn't win the league (tier 7) last season so that's not a surprise. There are three leagues with a tier 7 division. The Greater London Premier (our league last season), the SE Region Division 1 (we' re not in either of those) and the Essex County league who, as yet, have not published their lists of teams. I assume we'll be in the Essex County League somewhere. Best guess.

What about Div 5? Jump 2 leagues? We are playing and beating div 6 teams, I know they're friendlies, but why test yourself against a step up? That not usual, but could be good for the level above?

What about Div 5? Jump 2 leagues? We are playing and beating div 6 teams, I know they're friendlies, but why test yourself against a step up? That not usual, but could be good for the level above? It's not in our power. The FA rules everything although they are about to lose the top two divisions of the women's hierarchy to "NewCo Ltd" who are trying to build a female version of the Premiership. Frankly , the women's thing is very young and leagues like the Greater London Premiership at tier 7 are just as good as many at tier 5. It will eventually sort it self out but not yet. I am suspicious that our leaders at LO have taken us out of the Greater London and are trying to plonk us into the Essex County league - the view is the Essex County is much weaker than the GLWFL and is therefore a much easier path to enter the national set up at level six which - in reality, is the bottom level of the FAWNL set up. It's like writing a soap

Cheers Mr fisch..Is that higher? Lower? Same level? Same, level 7. I think the whole idea was to avoid the strong sides which now populate the Greater London and get an easier passage up to level 6. We'll have to see if that'll work out.
