Some silly stuff posted on this thread today.
How many times have we played in games where the score changed in the last few seconds?
Last season at Cheltenham and at Barnsley.
One went our way, the other didn't.
It's football.
We were poor overall, didn't have a shot on target till the first goal in 94 minutes, but we got 2 to their 1
I'll take it all day long

It’s a results game. England got the result. Job done. Quarter finals. Performances will be forgotten if England get to the final.
Personally I’ll take a dodgy 2-1 win every day of the week over a glorious but unsuccessful great performance. Tough watch and a win, but that’s what makes football such a great game. That absolute rush when the ball hits the net. No feeling in the world like it.

Didn’t see that coming. After 15 minutes of an absolute Spanish onslaught Georgia get a breakaway and an own goal. Spain will still win comfortably of course but wow. 0 shots, 1 goal. Go Georga

Hard to see England beating either Spain or Germany but at least they only play one or the other in the final. |

Once we got our second goal concede the midfield and go on all out defence, he even took the two goalscorers off leaving just Toney up front on his own. England got so LUCKY tonight, such a disjointed display and once again left the substitutions so late and poor starting team player selections. Please stop playing Foden on the left wing and Trippier as a left back, just not working out at all for either player |

Similar with Foden playing wide. The way forward is to play players in their best positions. Might have to just play three at the back if there isn’t a left back. |
