Yes Emma did.I'm actually a supporter but when she was one set down she had her give up look on her face so I turned off.the beauty of tennis, its not over till its over People go to watch her but she picks and chooses how much she's prepared to put in.Wimbledon is her only goal

Good players,it is the tactics that make England so dull to watch.I never seem to last a full match of watching and give many a miss.

Same system 4-2-3-1 that we did well with previously. Trouble is we've been found out. Kane tightly marked lone striker And now Bellingham is getting kicked We just can't break down a packed defence.too many pretty triangle passes,

Kane tightly marked loan striker And now Bellingham is getting kicked We just can't break down a packed defence.too many pretty triangle passes, The system has only been found out because we're using it so badly. We don't have a left-footer on the left flank so just aren't use that part of the pitch at all. We do, however, have a left-footed winger on the right flank, but the right-footer behind him isn't much of an attacker so we don't offer much there either. Essentially we're just trying to barge our way through the middle. Quite easy for teams to just keep a narrow block and stop it. We have no width and yet Gareth seems to think the only issue is who partners Rice in midfield. I've been quite defensive of him but thus far his approach to this tournament has been truly baffling.

Yes meant to mention lack of width in my post trippier got forward but often wasnt given the ball. And if he did he had to check back having no left foot. And every corner we took was an outswinger.no variation,,short corner etc. So many pretty passes to nowhere

Why do players pass to colleagues who are already in a significantly more difficult position/situation than they are?

Right as Delia once screeched over the tannoy “let’s be having you” it’s time for the England players to stand up and perform to the levels we know they are capable of. If they can match the intensity of the fans then we can move to the next round with ease. It’s about desire, it’s about heart and fight, but more than that it’s about being confident in their ability and their teammates. To play with a positivity from the get go, to move the ball quickly which will create space as you move their players out of position.
It’s almost at the point where the players have to kind of ignore the negative approach that the manager is laying down and revert to the more expressive side of the last two tournaments and take the game and play to the opponents.
It’s time England performed and today we can do it, so to the players I say “let’s be having you”

If we're "crap" as Howlingmad reckons and we won the Group, what does that make the 8 teams that have been eliminated ?

If we're "crap" as Howlingmad reckons and we won the Group, what does that make the 8 teams that have been eliminated ? Unlucky for being in much stronger groups than we were !! Compared to the other groups ours was a weak one.

Why do players pass to colleagues who are already in a significantly more difficult position/situation than they are? Most teams play that way, ever decreasing circles then kick anywhere or lose possession.

About time we won a trophy, far too long for a major football nation. But like most of our teams in international sports we tend to play with fear.I would like a shrug of the shoulders and give it KBB.
