Quite so,a lot of money spent on ground improvements. We have to spend very wisely, but we can get by on loans. Depends how the improvements have been financed. Quite often loans with long payback periods, not uncommon with building works, so the annual repayment costs may well be covered by increased income. Not always of course. Player costs are short term, at our level within the contract period, and can affect finances quicker.

Our 4 centre backs are top 6 material that's for sure. If the rest of our signings are going to be like London buses, its about time Blakey got em out the garage Blakey is not far away from Brisbane Road. The actor Stephen Lewis who played him is buried at St Patrick's Cemetery just the other side of Leyton station.

I knew Stephen lewis was local, but didn't know he was buried there. Thanks for info e3 He was such a talent. For me his best work was writing film "sparrows can't sing". A total who's who of British comedy actors everyone was in it.

Quite so,a lot of money spent on ground improvements. Yes we have redshank - fair comment. I was referring more specifically to the constraints that appear to have been placed on the player transfer budget that may presently be causing difficulties to Martin Ling.👍

Ben around for some time. Pigott’esque career wise. Burton looking for a better season for sure. Some good experience joining.

Sort of what I was saying but probably not very well. Last company I worked for financed new-builds and upgrades over 20 years.

On the plus side he's got good people looking at Costa and Cafe Neros and he's making a list of 4 or 5 different options

Probably needs the odd coffee or two to keep himself energised. 😄👍☕️

Some of the names I've been hearing we are interested in like Fankaty Dabo a RB relegated with FGR last season and Alfie McCalmont a CM relegated with Carlisle are worrying
These are only rumours and I originally laughed them off but it's a little concerning currently.
I'm hoping Lingy and the club suprise us all next week and bring in some cracking signings, fingers crossed.
