Wish him good luck at the club during his time here. With the best will in the world - at this stage- I’m not sure it’s an improvement over Ruel but time will tell. Would really hope that the second striker we are to sign is someone who is more experienced/ established. 👍

It will help when we have all those cup games early on. Experience for him and less work for whoever comes in. And of course with a full preseason we may yet see the best of Pigott. We forget he was once a very good striker at league 1 level. Who knows, the second coming. But will admit bias, few years back I really rated him.

Ditto. I'm sure that would suit all of us; the fans, Piggott, Orient and RW. He didn't exactly have much luck.

My mate is a QPR supporter and he reckons Paul Smyth is on his way out. Whilst Smyth played over in or parts of 40 games last season he only scored 3 goals. Apparently Marti Cifuentes who replaced Gareth Ainsworth as manager towards the end of the season doesn’t fancy him and guided QPR to safety without using Smyth as anything more than a rotation option. Perhaps he could be the second loan on the way ?

He’s been picked and scored consistently for England youth levels, so he must have something about him. Leeds want him to get match time and with Ritchie freshening things up around 60 minutes, he’ll probably get a look in, so looking forward to seeing him. Once an O always an O.

And maybe that athletic wing back that RW mentioned in the Hunt role.

His pedigree looks pretty good I have to say but needs time in the man’s game to develop. RW is just the person to bring him on. Looking forward to seeing what he can do, but won’t expect too much, too soon.

I must admit that in my mind i saw Perkins as pretty much someone who could play both as centre forward or in the “No 10” role so would be able to fill in for Sotiriou quite readily - albeit maybe off the bench. As I said whether he’s an improvement I’m not sure. I also rated Pigott but unfortunately his move here hasn’t worked out and given he was overlooked in favour of the two ineffective loanees towards the latter stages of last season I wouldn’t be surprised if RW has decided that he’s not part of his plans in the future. Dont forget that Drinan also moved on in January so maybe that is the style of striker RW is looking to bring in?

Perkins has not been br in yo replace Ruel of that I'd be pretty sure he'll be one of a couple of young loan signings I'm fully expecting a couple of quality strikers to come in if we're serious in about challenging this season

Good start to the window but I do feel we should be taking a bit more risk and buying young strikers like Ruari Patton.
Perkins will hopefully be great but if he has a successful season only Leeds will benefit long term.
We need to be more Peterborough and less Little Leyton Orient.

Pigott is still under contract and who knows he may yet surprise us. Agyie can also play as a striker.

Speaks well, has a soft spot for his first club, so will enjoy pulling on the shirt again I’m sure.
Hope he does well.
Wellcome home.

Looking at his age, his current club and orient historical knowledge with his England youth success I think it will a good move for all.
He looks athletic and that is an important attribute for RW tactics
Good luck Sonny

If Zech Obiero improves on his already exceptional form of play we are building a nice squad.Theo being fit and Jordan Graham being fit we ain't a bad team.I would like news on a new keeper, such an important position in todays football.

I agree we have the makings of a decent competitive squad (but looking elsewhere in league 1 so have others). But alas we remain weak in some key areas. We have some good young players too but I really don’t want a repeat of last seasons mantra of young players with fatigue. It’s a long season and we need sufficient depth to be able to maintain peak momentum when injuries and suspensions occur, and they will. A squad well drilled into the RW style of play. I anticipate some solid signings and a couple of loans still to happen and importantly in good time to get fit and organised from game 1. RW has made his requirements clear. NT has reiterated. It will happen. We need to bear in mind that in a division of 24 good teams, 4 good teams will be relegated. It’s not about us being a good squad, we need to be better than many others.

I’m hoping if RW does not want Howes as our no 1 for us to put more of the remaining budget into the best goalie we can afford
I see the goalie in this league as critical to our success given that most of the teams can beat any other team generally. A very good goalie will give us the edge against similar teams and assist us beating the better teams.

All depends if he’s now seen the light and listens to what Richie has to say. If he does and lives up to his talent, could be the best loanee for some time.
