Looked by far the better side.Nice style of play Orient have, very pleasant on the eye.Good to see forward passes and not crab pass our way upfield, lots of hard work ahead for these boys and as said I would give Penney more games and the keeper if it is proving such a problem. But that might be just football talk.

Not missing much Fisch. Imagine any game with little going on and it’s this. The odd moment but nothing really happening. Needs something to liven it up. Rumour has it Perkins is playing. Simpson looks solid. Pratley is Pratley, just keeps going. Roll on the final whistle, I’ve a nice hot curry waiting. Right now. Goal would be nice but not holding my breath. Certainly not as decent as the first half. Not many standout performances. Approaching the tedious level. But a friendly so overall a decent enough watch. Glad I mastered the website. £10:well spent. The website was easy dohnut,if I can buy a matchday pass anyone can.Simpson looked comfortable on the ball,I enjoyed the game.

Oh the pitch in the second half was number 16 (I think) Hutchinson, anyone have a clue who he is?

Definitely. Good to see us ditch the tippy tappy backwards sideways stuff. Penney and the keeper should get more time - but not a lot of time left. Bit late to start looking at keepers on trial. May as well stay with Howes.

I thought I detected a toughness in our play that has been lacking for a few seasons.

Oh the pitch in the second half was number 16 (I think) Hutchinson, anyone have a clue who he is? What position did he play? Maybe Sam Hutchinson ex Chelsea and Wednesday. Was going to retire a few years ago because of injuries but still going. Bit of a defensive utility If not him Shaun Hutchinson released by millwall recently center back

Interesting if it's Shaun or Sam Hutchinson. Neither fit the age bracket of our signings.
Sounds like a good game and good result though.

Like most games the entertainment value fluctuated but I’m glad I watched. Some good moments, especially Graham and Agyie. The result a bonus but not really important. when the substitutions kicked in second half the match got untidy and that was to be expected. Good to look at the trialsts. Penney did well. The keeper didn’t really have too many opportunities to shine, good and bad in a way. As for Hutchinson, didn’t really notice him that much. As for our new players, DJ did enough to suggest he is OK, Kelman did what Kelman does - chases around but weak when a chance comes along and Perkins apart from one moment when he nearly earned a penalty did very little. Don't really see Penney as an upgrade to Hunt in style or impact. Sweeney didn’t do much. If Richie is looking to use wingbacks we have a problem. Pratley just keeps going. On Weetabix for sure. Puts others to shame. Definitely an advert for bringing in older players. Moncur was disappointing. Midfield looks average. But our second game so too soon to draw any real conclusions.

For periods in the game we were so superior to them, it was very pleasing.
Thought the left back trialist looked pretty decent.... Maybe worth a 12 month contract
DJ looked decent for 25 mins, but tired very quickly after that and was rightly subbed.
I thought Perkins looked decent, maybe a little rough around the edges, but so was Shaq last season and he turned out very well.
And last but not least, what a player Jordan Graham is. Different class. Will cause defenders nightmares this coming season. We have to hope he stays fit.

But thinking back to Richies post match gripes last season he consistently said we didn’t have the experience to close out games and manage certain periods in games

It sounds like Jordan Graham might be overdoing it a bit. I hope he doesn't get injured again.

On tenterhooks when he is on the ball, easy target to nullify one of O's best attacking forward. If he plays 30 or more games this season we should be very comfortable, but I am sure our opponents have plans to stop him.

Keep it coming folks, l failed to navigate through the club's streaming process. Not easy, the buy button don’t work. Went to the subscription page. overall after a slow start Orient are bossing the game. Number of great crosses by Graham. Decent goal by brown from a Graham corner. Shocking mistake by Ashby-Hammond (Luca assume) cost a goal but other than that had nothing to do other than deal with back passes. Some naughty challenges from Hearts players, not good. One yellow in a friendly. We should be In front. Star of the half, Grahams crossing. Reading their forum it would appear we were the hatchet men
