He said:
“As soon as I heard that Orient were interested I wanted to get down here and sign. My decision was made easy after I met the gaffer and, although there was other interest, I only ever wanted to come here after speaking to him."

Amazing signing, thought he would end up in the Championship up North, remember him at Fleetwood.
He also an absolute unit for his age, well done to the club on this one.

My Everton mate speaks very highly - passion and commitment, physically imposing, ball winner, tears it up on the pitch. Tranmere and Fleetwood fans also seem to rate him.

I don't know if anyone has seen Knappers (Cod Army) on YouTube, he does fantastic League One content and his knowledge of the division is second to none, anyway he's a Fleetwood fan and absolutely loves Warrington.
He made a comment last season that losing Warrington was a massive contributing factor in Fleetwoods early struggles at the time. Still only 21 with plenty of League One experience, what's not to like.

Never heard of him. We rate him so highly we give him a 2 year contract, when will we ever learn?
Still I hope he does tear it up and proves to be a good signing. Good luck lad and well ome to the club.

Reminds me a bit of John Lundstram who was only on loan from Everton but went on to have a successful career at top clubs

Sounds like just the sort of young lad the club should be giving a chance to. Seems promising and hopefully it will pan out.

Ha can develop him along and could be a good replacement for El Miz.

I’d suggest he is a work in progress, just as El Miz was when he joined us. After 12 months if he develops well, then I’d expect us to offer him an extension to his contract. Welcome to the O’s

Might have offered him a 5 year contract but he wouldn't have signed it.
Can't get hung up on these things. I'm sure within about 5 or 6 games we'll all be able to see if we've got a player on our hands or not. And I'm sure the administration will too.
Welcome to the Young Toffee. I love these types of signings.
You've broken free from the constraints of Premier League academies. Now go show us and the World that you're the next Ollie Watkins or some other player that has risen from the EFL.

Welcome to the O’s If he does well why would he sign an extension? Just because we offer one doesn’t mean he will take it. I wouldn’t. Move on, no transfer fee, bigger opportunity for a wage increase. Our bargaining position will be much weaker. If we think he is a great prospect then 3 years. More clubs are doing this.

Who knows. What we do know are 3 year deals are becoming more commonplace. Let’s hope he does well for us.
