I believe it does. Buffalobill linked a good site and based on that, even if he didn’t come through the academy, we get compensation. Assume the same applies to Galbraith whose contract runs out in June. who we've yet to offer a contract too or Dan A and on it goes. We lost Ruel due to it and we will continue to lose players because of it. We are like dinosaurs. I’d be staggered if we haven’t opened discussions with Galbraith. Even if it’s early days. Same for Dan A. Probably too early for a firm offer (or maybe not !). It will be happening, slowly of course. What is interesting is the number of 3 year deals going around. Definitely on the increase. Did Ruel get a 3 year deal plus an extension clause. |
