Just looked him up, plenty of experience, right-back / midfielder. From Hackney 3-year-deal, bit older than i would have liked but we do need the experience. This signing is all good news from what i can see. Get on the plane Sean!

'He is a very versatile player who can play at full-back, in midfield or at centre-back' says Ling
That sounds ideal cover for us

Decent pedigree. 3 year deal. Local boy. Moncs part 2.
Good news and in time for Spain.

Blimey.. 6'3" for a wide-player.. this is Shaun Batt type of signing. Loved Shaun.

Another quality signing and great to see we aren't just going down the free agent route, more importantly he's off to Spain which is important.

Sounds like a guy who will likely get a starting berth imho and means we won’t have to rely upon the likes of Oberio & Pratley to shoulder too big a burden.

Plenty of experience and I doubt he joined to sit on the bench most of the time. Will admit this is definitely the type of player I like. Great age, plenty of good experience at our level and seems to get plenty of match time every season. Still had 2 years to run on his Wigan contract. Wonder if a fee was involved?

Unusual for Os to give out a three year contract!! Let us hope the clubs judgement on this player is correct, many negative comments on the other forum based on comments by fans from his previous clubs

Leyton Orient are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced full-back Sean Clare from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

Let us hope the clubs judgement on this player is correct, many negative comments on the other forum based on comments by fans from his previous clubs As far as I can tell from the Latics' forum, he has a high ceiling, low floor, and wasn't settled there. Most seem happy to have got a fee for him. Versatile and has had a pretty up and down career by the looks of it.

He had a great couple of months to start off with at Wigan and then the manager changed tactics and it didn't suit the way he played and things fell off a bit.
Anyway I wouldn't worry about what the other board thinks of footballing matters, I'll leave them to fight over Trans issues and the rights of conflict 🤣
