Could ask the same about Pigott..Money for nothing Richie getting rid of the last of the previous legacy. It’s his squad now, no excuses. George Moncur was signed on 29th June 2022 and Joe Pigot was signed on 21st July 2023, so both signed by Richie who was first appointed as Manager of Leyton Orient on 9th March 2022.

A very talented midfield player and to me it seems like his way of playing did not fit into the non stop running till you drop style that Richie expects of his front 6 players.
Quite expect that he will inspire Southend to some very good results in the season ahead.
It will be interesting to find out Dennis. I’m confident he will start well for the Shrimpers. I’d be less confident that by February/ March the novelty hasn’t worn off. We’ll see anyway.👍

Zach is going to be a quality player. We need a big strong midfielder, but I don't see that happening. We need an established centre forward and I don't see that happening either. Unfortunately. If Idris had played the last two games we'd have 6 points now. He is so badly missed, but when you analyse it with a clear head, we are actually not that far away, but far enough to not be a contender. And unfortunately close enough to be relegation fodder

Just seen this. Not happy. We are not that well endowed with quality in midfield that we can let someone like him just go. Are we really trying to screw up this season?
I am assuming we can expect incoming to mitigate his loss. But then again. Him gone, Prats part time. Our midfield looks drastically weak. Ling needs to work overtime to bring experience in. Clucking bell. The wagon wheel has lost a few spokes, will it survive the bumps to come.
😡😡😡
interesting interview on shrimperzone. He is fit (not match fit but you got to play for that), ready to go. So why not for us?

Let’s hope so anyway!😆👍

The DoF needs to weave some spells like Merlin and get in a no nonsense journeyman footballer who will turn up each week barring injury, is comfortable at League 1 level and will put a shift in each week.

I saw GM moving into positions where it was impossible to pass to him, you can't have a winning team like that.

Clearly available most of the time and used frequently.

Not the same player so no comparison really. Im a Moncs fan but I can see why we let him go. I miss the player he could have been.

Im a Moncs fan but I can see why we let him go. I miss the player he could have been. The Pratley example was not as a player, but games and minutes. We all feel the same way about Moncur Im sure. Should he be replaced with a suitable player then I can see the sense, I genuinely believe this is the case. If we have just let him go without a replacement, paying part of his wages probably, that’s madness. I await news of incoming.
