It was interesting redshank what matt Lockwood said who reported on our hearts game for BBC London radio. He lives in Scotland and said orient are on a Par with scot prem clubs apart from The Glasgow ones. Hearts lost 5-1 to spurs days after we beat them. They are on a bad start like us. A nice club, hope they recover soon.

I think not a criticism but an observation of a poor start to the season and reasons why? are we not allowed this? Criticising the Spanish trip is going a little over the top, in my opinion. Why ? Well it does not seem to work does it, purpose being to be part of the process to get the team fit and ready to fire from day one of the season.

We went last season and it worked perfectly well.

We went last season and it worked perfectly well. Spain trip and all the pre season training and practice matches, the main purpose of them is supposed to be in getting the team match fit and ready for the first league match of the season and onwards. Very slow start to last season and even worse this season. Other team firing from the start but lame excuses for Leyton Orient.

As I wrote before, we took a long time to get started and some of the season flirted with the relegation zone, so last seasons pre season training ( including the trip to Spain ) did not have positive results, injuries to key players and we were not up and running at the start as were other teams in our division, that is a fact. I am not into re-writing history, say it as it is ! Same goes for this season, cannot say we have started firing on all cylinders.
