Just read through this thread. What a bunch of moaners you lot are. I watched it. Enjoyed it and thought we looked good on the ball against a good Arsenal U21 team.

But for an unlucky penalty from ags it would have been tied and Orient, infront of a rabid homecrowd, would have undoubtedly won the shootout decider and Bristol Street glory. Good lessons learned for the young Os and we go again Keep the FaithđȘđ

Seems to me that RW needs to decide what his best XI is , devise a system that suits it then stick with it for a few games and stop tinkering. A degree of continuity in personnel and style might be the best hope of stopping this poor run quickly. Agree and wish some people would give their heads a wobble and stop talking as though RW is some kind of super manager and tactician who can do no wrong. Agreed. Let me be clear , I like Wellens and think he is a good manager/ tactician but he ainât perfect. Those who absolve him from all criticism do him nor the club any favours. Same thing with Travis and the Board. Iâm still hopeful this run is just temporary blip that will turned around but the reasons behind it need to be identified, addressed and lessons learned.đ

So hang on wo,we(at virtually full strength)LOST to an under Arsenal 21 filled with 17,18 and 19 year old.some people voice their concerns (moaning as you put it),do you honestly think all is rosy and we will suddenly turn the corner?

Its not exactly âvoicing concernsâ is it when you call Nigel âshamefulâ amongst the other things Ive read on here. Its lucky really none of the more vocal moaners on here arent actually in charge of anything to do with the club. Weâve had it good for the last few years and now we have hit a bump in the road. I trust the team that navigated us this far, the team that also put their money where their mouth is, to navigate us over this bump towards better things. I genuinely thought we played ok yesterday in a nothing cup game against a team that got to the quarter finals.

People need to calm down. OK, so let's look at our fixtures that are coming up. Reading away - they will run rings around us Stockport- they will run rings around us Wrexham - on form and a manager who wins ugly So after those 3 losses we are into Oct without a win. Thoughts then?

People need to calm down. Works both ways. RW also needs to recognise that last nights showing against a bunch of kids was not â excellentâ nor were the performances in the first three games â brilliantâ.

Richie needs to learn nothing from either you or I. Personally, Ive been pleased with most of what I have seen this season. That said, we dont score goals and havent done for a while. We need the x factor back that is Archibald and Graham. We had it in Smyth. That sort of magic will turn this team into something very special. I keep the faith.

It was a nothing game, except it wasnât when you think about it.
iThe opportunity to earn a little bit of money allowing us either to strengthen in January or reduce the amount our owners have to put in to keep us going. this competition is one where qualification for the next stage is not too difficult. But we messed up. And one where teams of our standing have a chance of a Wembley game in front of 40,000 people. Nothing game! Well it seemed like that to our players.
Richie did his best to gloss over the performance, but it was poor. Very little quality out there. Very little effort out there from too many. Plenty of mistakes and not just the keeper.
Moreover the club missed the opportunity to secure a much needed boost after Saturdayâs fiasco. Morale will be even lower as we head to Reading.
So a nothing game? Probably not.

I keep the faith. you would have read my previous postings over the four previous games where I have been going against the grain by saying we have and are playing well. However, we should not be losing to a kids side, end of. You have hit the nail on the head, we canât score goals, thatâs a problem. So how do we win, when we canât score and every game we are gifting teams goals. We have needed a striker since Bonne left and he has still not been replaced. look at Sat stats 74% possession I recall we had yet got drubbed 3-0. I can take losing its part and parcel of the game, but are you really going to tell me the club backed RW in Jan and again this summer?

If we cast our mind back, posts were all about how much will change when Agyie was back. He is a good player, but whatâs not right extends beyond this or that player as we have seen. As for Richie having nothing to learn, of course he does. He has a long way to go before becoming a great manager. Iâm sure one day that will happen. Iâve no doubt he would be the first to admit it (I think he has). For sure in football matters he knows more than most of us will ever know. Though sadly lacking in the laws of the game as we know. But strangely as a fan on the terraces watching a team over which we have no control and experiencing the emotions that creates is something where our experience dwarfs his and by some distance. In such matters it is the fans who are the experts and itâs where fans opinions hold the greater weight. Fans opinions matter and thankfully we have a club that recognises this. His man-management style is text book stuff too, I wonder if he has done classes, bet he has. Stands out a mile. Controls the narrative very well. And yes there are some very qualified to comment on that aspect of his job and then some.
