I really hope Keeley can step up and save a couple and RWs job. Irrespective of the result today though I think a lot of damage will have been done. well let's hope the directors don't think that. I'm 1000% sure they don't. Mischievous me thinks. Absolutely not! I’ll stick by what I said. Today’s performance will have damaged the position of several players ( and maybe the DoF & RW) in the eyes of some fans. Time to look at what’s happening with a critical eye imho.

Btw Honourable mention for Josh Keeley for his penalty save and Ethan Galbraith for taking his winning penalty with aplomb.

Btw Honourable mention for Josh Keeley for his penalty save and Ethan Galbraith for taking his winning penalty with aplomb. 💯. Galbraith was just on Talksport talking about his calm penalty to win the shootout He credited the team talk they had just before the shootout

Keeley kept us in the game more than once. I was following the BBC live text and I was glad he was in goal. Based on appearances so far, Keeley is my choice for the keeper position.

People need to chill out, Richie ain't going nowhere. We are in a bad run of form, he's been given substandard and ill equipped players for the level. He has demonstrated the ability to develop players and I'm sure in time some of these will develop nicely, others will be discarded. So who's the guy responsible for that again, the list of duff people signed just gets longer and longer

An Example of this is Jordan Graham, as I've said before a "Sicknote" looking for an injury

He selects the players who he presents to RW, when your presented with sub standard players, you can only choose sun standard. Open your eyes, Ling is well in the dog mire here.

Richie has been dropped in it by the quality of players Ling and his scouts offered him. Jacket had the same issue before he got bored. The difference being KJ was at the end of his career and could afford to take it easy and wait for the payoff, nothing to prove. Richie cannot. He has to grin and bear it, work hard to stop his career going down the pan along with the owners ambitions. Ling is not up to it. Ok in NL terms, modestly ok in league 2 helped in both cases by managers able to do wonders. At League 1 level he is out of his depth.

DJ might be, the rest, nah there Lings. You do understand how it works in the club don’t you? For example RW says I want a winger and a centre back, Lings team provides a list of players, RW has to pick and or comment on them. Ling gets them in the building or not as the case maybe. Think back, RW said I want a wide player and a strong central midfield player. He was given a left back and a keeper. That should have woken you up to what’s going on.
