And the best bit about which players are whose choice is we can have this same conversation next summer when we find ourselves with only five players in contract.

I cannot understand how some of you seem not to have listened to RW, ML and NT over the last few months. Go back and listen to there interviews and you will understand some of the recruitment issues that they have had. We lost out on players to Wycombe, Peterborough and Rotherham as well as Ruel, all because of budgets and are expecting to lose £3-4m this season.
For those moaning perhaps you should put your hand in your pocket.

We lost out on players to Wycombe, Peterborough and Rotherham as well as Ruel, all because of budgets and are expecting to lose £3-4m this season. For those moaning perhaps you should put your hand in your pocket. We appreciate budget issues, doubt any are criticising the owners. We listen carefully when they talk of budgets, ambitions and difficulties. Their choice to talk about a new ground, stadium improvements, Championship in X years, new investment, new pitch, backroom staff, RW 3 year deal, players. RW speaks numbers and type of players he wants knowing budget and the difficulties. It’s a question of spending wisely, choosing carefully, not wasting resources, something almost every manager in every business grapples with daily. Football ain’t special in that respect. Have we spent wisely, wasted money? The Board and RW drive the narrative, not the fans. They create expectations, drive ambition. They set budgets, they talk of players. They are experienced professionals, recruitment within a world they know. And they, like us, know our performances are way below the quality of the core players we have. Many fans listen and understand. And witness waste in terms of return on investment. It’s not all about money.

DJ might be, the rest, nah there Lings. You do understand how it works in the club don’t you? For example RW says I want a winger and a centre back, Lings team provides a list of players, RW has to pick and or comment on them. Ling gets them in the building or not as the case maybe. Think back, RW said I want a wide player and a strong central midfield player. He was given a left back and a keeper. That should have woken you up to what’s going on. And I’m sure Wellens was after Kelman Yes defo Kelman, that’s totally on him!

So who's the guy responsible for that again, the list of duff people signed just gets longer and longer People who take responsibility would say it’s Martin Ling. He selects the players who he presents to RW, when your presented with sub standard players, you can only choose sun standard. Open your eyes, Ling is well in the dog mire here. We're on the same wave length.

How well did the Boreham Wood keeper play.I have not seen any highlights yet. A couple of decent saves though I thought he could have done better with Perkins and not too sure his managing the ball before Agyie goal was great. Looked indecisive but maybe I’m being harsh. I’m sure RW saw BW saves as Gordon Banks moments but they weren’t

It is really interesting about the quality of players this year, I thought coming in our defence looked strong compared to recent years. As it's turned out though Beckles & Happe are still clearly our best centre backs and James is our primary right back.
Although, looking at it still, having the left-footed Currie take up left back has clearly given us a stronger back 4 than last season.
I'm just rambling but always thinking, so long as this is a bad run of form I'm still happy with my prediction of the same league finish as last season

How well did the Boreham Wood keeper play.I have not seen any highlights yet. Fluffed the first goal. Made a miracle save at 2-2 sending the game to extra time. Overall, good but not stand out.

Ashmore always had a good game against us in the NL..When he was at Ebbsfleet he has always played well against us. I always thought if he lost a bit of timber he could have played at a higher level. What do you think?
