Erin Doors has been binge watching Outlander. I have no idea what on earth is going on, I suspect the actors didn't know either!

The Saint with Roger Moore...
Two and a Half Men... When Charlie Sheen went I always said they should have bought Rob Lowe in... I know he was working on something else, but I'm pretty sure he would have been ideal. Shame Charlie Sheen lost the plot.

Shame Charlie Sheen lost the plot. Too right, that show was booming along, consistently good and then, as you say, CS lost it. Shame

Just watched someone on you tube looking for the river alderbrook that runs into the roding at Ilford.Fascinating information on Romford Road and the 13th century church which was also a leper hospital at the top of Ilford Hill. How little we know of our own local history. Thanks to these people that do the research and show it on you tube. Jago Hazzard is also excellent on the London underground stations. So many that are not in use now,and so many stories about them. Also found out that parts of Wanstead were temperance areas with no pubs allowed.

I've recently discovered the Jago Hazard videos, perfect depth for my limited attention span.

I watched my first episode of CHiPs...where Poch gets his new mustang type car nicked, and they catch up with the gang that nicked it... In the end there is a chase and the car is crashed... Jon tries to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher... It runs out and Jon legs it... Car blows up...

In my defence I did say Mustang type...and how did you know the car in that episode anyway?

In my cruising (custom cars) days you used to see plenty of those about, together with other stateside Ve hicles (as they call them).
60's Mustangs and Camaros were my favs. Some of our Ambulances were Holden V8's. Not a lot of people know that.

Cos I knew what car he drove. I'm a big fan of CHiPs and a big fan of American muscle cars from that era. John drove a blue chevy truck. You can tell a firebird because it has a big mural of one on the hood. I sprayed a graveyard scene on the back doors of a mates small (car size) bedford van in the late 70's. If anyone remembers that (Ilford/Romford area) that was me, yay!

I can hardly tell the difference between cars.... Not really into them.
Jon did have a pickup truck in that episode..
Only cars I like was my Dads Audi 80 company car he got in 1976...and my Stepmums Old Skool (196's or 70s) VW Beetle which had a bit of character... I still remember the number plate from both.

Maroon. I have some pics somewhere. I'd love another but it would be so impractical and unreliable. At my age, it would too much to keep it running but l'm so glad l did it. So was my local petrol station.

So was my local petrol station. Never owned an exotic car. But I loved my Austin 1100. Had a better engine fitted, British Racing Green. Twin Fog lamps fitted to a chrome bumper. Front wheel drive, Cornered really well and acceleration was good, for them days. Wrote it off! as for TV. Just finished series 2 of the bay, ITV player. Really good and even better than the first. Gutted only 6 episodes. If you’ve not seen it, need to view series 1. Hope they do series 3. Set in Morecambe, no football involved.

So was my local petrol station. Chigwell area? Our cruising meeting place was Seven Kings High Road car park, a pub in Barking called the Barge Aground, Southend Sea Front, and Chelsea Bridge. Was involved in a very small way with a green stretched (like a funny car) Fiat Topolino Competition Altered dragster called Thunderbird (original name), we hadn't re named it yet when I was involved, just testing, then I left. It used to run at Santa Pod and North Weald in the 1980's. My last car until it was stolen and trashed. 1990 R5 Turbo.

It's a small world BasO, l remember Thunderbird, it was run by the Hazelton family with a blown hemi, k lost track of it after that. I ran a 383ci T altered called "Lucky Fisch" around 1990, then a BB Chevy powered RED in Super-Pro which was the advert from a busines we owned 'Speedflow'. We ran a Top Alcohol dragster for a couple of years but that was a money pit. Good days but so expensive. I lived near Snaresbrook station during this period.

The more I'm saying it, yes. I left the scene in 1987 when my other half preferred the owner to me. I've been a few times since but only as a spectator. Thunderbird (minus the blower) ended up in a very small workshop type set up inside a North Weald Horse Stables, opposite the airfield. Lucky something ? also rings bells, I'll have to go through my pics. Oh the cackle of nitro, stinging eyes and vibrating ribs eh.
