I've heard good things about that Ted Lasso. May give it a spin.
I watched the new film on Netflix last night called Don't Look Up. And it was terrible.

I think that Power of the Dog was decent.

This is not a description I would give many shows but it’s rather sweet natured and uplifting. We go back and forth between that and The Morning Show. That one is not sweet natured or uplifting.

You’ll be hooked from the start. Despite the gentle uplifting nature of the comedy there’s loads of swearing in it 🤬.

I am not one for TV series as I found that they go on for too long ie too many episodes and too many seasons but at the same time I love a miniseries (3-6 episodes and no more than 10) so I was very happy to see that BBC released a new one last night called The Tourist. It was very good and I ended up watching all 6 episodes during the day. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0b6c8t6Keen to hear if anyone has any recommendations of miniseries I have to watch? Here’s 3 very good ones i highly recommend: 1) Des. David Tennant just excellent as Dennis Nilsen. 2) White House Farm about the murders at said farm 3) Chernobyl about yes you guessed it 😉 4) Mare of Easttown. The only non true crime on the list but great nonetheless. True crime is a specific favourite as you can see and there’s many others than these I could recommend but BBC and ITV in general are very good at making shows like this.

Watched Red Notice on Netflix. Was good fun.

Have to agree on Chernobyl. It was the best thing I have seen on TV in the past few years. Riveting stuff.
Succession is a great show too.

Anyone been watching ‘Toast of Tinseltown’? Overall it’s still good compared to most ‘comedies’ these days but it’s not as good as it was when it was on Channel 4. It’s not quite as surreal and absurd as the other series.

I watched ‘Cannibal Holocaust’ last night. Never heard of it before and I expected it to be a cheesy zombie film. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It does exactly what it said on the box. It was vile. Live animals were killed, including a monkey having it’s head chopped off, loads of graphic cannibalism and rape. It was banned in fifty countries and will never be shown on television. They said it was ‘the most co troversial film ever made’ and they were probably right. I had problems getting to sleep last night as I had visions of it in my head for hours afterwards. Bizarrely it’s ‘free’ to watch on Amazon Prime. I love a good horror, but…..🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
