Andy Rouke bass player for the Smiths has passed away from pancreatic cancer. Reading what Jonny Marr said on his post just shows you how good this man was at his craft. The sound of the Smiths wouldn't be possible without that bass sound.

Jim Brown, Civil Rights Activist, American football player, and actor in films such as the Dirty Dozen has passed away at 87. He retired at the height of his athletic career to act.
I have a friend who lived on St. Simons Island in Georgia. Two of his kids were practicing American football with their team on their practice field. Out of the blue and unannounced the great Jim Brown walked up and asked the coach permission to speak with the boys during a break. He gave them words of encouragement, watched until the end, and then took pictures with everyone. He was on St. Simons for a golf outing but wanted to come by to see the football team.
