Hall of famer Duane Eddy has passed away aged 86 from cancer. He sold over 100 million records in his life and was the highest selling and most successful instrumentalist of all time. He created a unique sound and his talent to make that sound work and be successful rubbed off on future guitarists.

Bernard Hill has sadly passed away aged 79. One of his early roles remains memorable to me to this day and the character of Yosser Hughes. Cesar Luis Menotti has died aged 85. His Argentina side and their victory is my first memory of watching the world Cup with my dad. I wanted Holland to win only because of Joham Cryuff. He was a legend of Argentina football as be delivered their first World Cup win.

Emptied the pubs when he was on the radio. Never forgetting the genius writing of Galton and Simpson who met in a sanitarium for TB and also wrote Steptoe and Son. They employed actors for that one after experiencing working with a comedian.

Gudrun Ure has passed away aged 98 who played Supergran. That was on in my house every week growing up, and the fact she got to 98 surly proves she really was super!

Saw her at the BBC studios White City just after the Eurovision win,we were laying the studio floor next door.Even more lovely to look at in real life,four workmates immediately fell in love with her.
