As Saint Eustasias said, it takes a special team that is so good it always gives the opponents a two goal head start.
God bless you Orient

We did look off the pace today, the bug sweeping the squad didn't help and it does explain why some looked jaded. But 0-2 down and to pull it back does speak volumes and if we keep getting 4 points every 2 games we won't be complaining too much. If Danny's shot goes in instead of hitting the post it may have been a different game. Onward and hopefully upwards!

Yes, Ross spoke about it yesterday and it probably explains why Angol Wright and Wilkinson were not either starting or in the Squad and there may have been a few more. Coulson had it and only just made the Plymouth game and didn't Wilkinson throw up when he was substituted Tuesday. Pro's don't use it as an excuse but it does make you feel like death and would take away that bit of sharpness.

Would explain why everyone was extremely sluggish

Good to see another fightback, but we need to stop conceding so easily.
Ling at fault again too.

A poor performance but let's take the illness excuse and move on. We never gripped the midfield and looked poor at the back. No way they should have let us back in the game - if they hadn't started piddling around in the corners with ten minutes to go they would have gone on to win it 3 or 4-0.
Gutted not to have been in my seat behind the South Stand goal for those two O's goals - place would have been rocking.

Sounds like it really was a cobbled together team and would explain the sluggish performance.
Still don't get Brophy off the hook for that defending and penalty. But he made good on that with the wing play for the equaliser.
Cisse still looks like he's in pre season mode.

Agree Brophy offers more in a forward role but the trouble is neither Widdowson - nor it seems Ogie at the moment- are up to the task . Until then I suspect RE will stick with Broohy in the full back position. Widdowson is fine, just has his share of detractors. But competent at LB. Brophy at LB to be fair is adequate. Brophy in an attacking role offers options. Last ditch today, Brophy gets forward, we get a goal. At LB we concede a sloppy goal. Being one of his detractors, I can’t share your views on Widdowson I’m afraid! As you say Brophy does ok there and may indeed develop long term into the real deal but as you say at the moment he offers more in an attacking role.

JMD hasn't been at the races either. Did Marek Stech play for us too? Yes Stech did play for us only once or twice though I think.

Brophy was far too casual when chasing back for their first goal . I also thought we missed Turleys presence today especially in the opposition box from corners and free kicks.

And the stream was spot on for me today apart from the commentary which affected everyone and tbh no commentary didn’t bother me.

On a similar note did anyone see Louis Dennis out jump two defenders to win a flick on. He just hung there like Michael Jordan, it was a strange sight. Sort of in the centre circle but he just hung there.
