It's still early in the season but Sunday's GLWFL match at table-toppers Richmond and Kew has all the hallmarks of a titanic tussle for the top! The Leyton Orient girls have lost only once in the Premier league, everyone else has lost twice or more but we have yet to play any of the top four except Richmond who we faced on the opening day of the season. On that day, they told lofcwomen.com that too many of their key players were unavailable. Having won their last five straight league games, it seems they have a point. It's Saturday so that means the O's first team are in EFL1 action today. That may also mean that we'll all get a few minutes to spare during the game as they pass it around the back line and to-and-from Sol Bryn. So here's a bit of light relief provided by a website from a Hackney borough ward who've posted a short piece featuring our own women's team star Liliana Almeida. See it via the lofcwomen.com home page or direct at lofcwomen.com/items/231125Today also sees the third game of our girls' under-18 side who travel all the way to Haywards Heath to play their under-18s, one of about 20 different teams they run down there in Sussex. They are a massive organisation for young players with both girls' and mixed teams. Liliana Almeida

Visit lofcwomen.com/live matchday coverage for updates during the build-up and the game itself today. There's also some great news of the under-18 girls' who did a most 'un-Orient' thing in their away win at the big multi-team club at Haywards Heath yesterday. Our U18 girls have now Played 3 - Won 3. Time for a bit of self congratulation. After bowing and scraping to the masters of the online universe (that'll be Google), we have now made it to the front page of Google's search results when people use "Leyton Orient Women" as the search criteria.
Next month they'll change their algorythm so we'll have to bow and scrape again... but hey! 😊

GLWFL Premier division round up and asking the question: "who do the coaches think will end up at the top at the end of the season?". The O's ladies are looking stronger as the season progresses - the pre-season favourites will be looking over their shoulder at the rising power from E10.... Player of the match on Sunday, great to see Charlotte Lynch return...
