Looks like Islington’s 2 goal in 2 minutes has done the damage lt did indeed, we had plenty of efforts but they all came up short one way or another. I do have a question though, we have some top players... Madeline Wright, Charlotte Lynch, Kirstie Jackson, Layla Crouch-Salmon, none were in the squad. There are others like Amelia Pearce, Ellie Landen, Sophie Tabor .... Where are they all? Thor asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago..I’m hoping they had other commitments,or there are injuries in the camp

Yeah I did look earlier and thought exactly the same again. With the youngsters called up I was going to ask are they very good and ready to make the move upwards, or are we having an injury and or suspension issues. A lot of good players missing today which makes the task even harder and Grace sounds like she's injured now as well.

I was happy for Thara Said and Chloe Kabo (29 goals for the U18s this season) who got a day with the premier team but where are are all the missing senior players?

I did wonder where the text service was coming from. Can you get Larry to have the sound on?
A few of those chances we just needed to be a bit more composed so as to hit it cleaner rather than rushing it and not getting the connection you'd want for a goal bound effort.
Hopefully some of the more experienced members will be able to bolster the squad for the next game.

The good news is we're gonna win all our games in hand and win the league.
How many teams can get promoted? Just one?

Yes, it's hard to get into the FAWNL (Football Association Women's National Leagues) which start at the next level (tier six) above us. Sometimes clubs are not allowed to move up if their infrastructure and other stuff (l don't know what) is not up to standard. On occasions, clubs are accepted into FAWNL even though they didn't win their league. We tried this season on the basis of our standing in the football hierarchy to move into tier six but we were declined (smells bit like politics at play) and this severely hampered our off season recruitment.

A grovelling apology to people who emailed us at our expensive address of info@lofcwomen.com - As an email server service, it served no emails and gave no service - send or receive. We've had to abandon it and have gone for a good old fashioned reliable webmail account. Please save as appropriate:- lofcwomen@yahoo.comI promise we always respond to emails... as long as the email service lets us know we have them. So irritating!

Great to hear that we can now follow the games live. I have plans, but will try to check in where possible and see how it's working.

Great to hear that we can now follow the games live. I have plans, but will try to check in where possible and see how it's working. That's part of our strategy to bring the womens' game into mainstream interest. Today we hope to have input from the Camden Town crew in order to offer live updates from both sides. We don't get much followership from the other clubs yet but they are starting to ask questions.
