Currently, Instagram seems to have a mind of its own which I can't get to grips with. Are you 'Content' person? Copy and content writer, yes. I already reached out to the club's Marketing Manager after Nigel mentioned in his Orient Outlook interview that they needed more marketing support. She didn't seem interested. Would happily commit a bit of time to the women's team instead if I can assist in any way. |

I watched much of it on Larry's video clips, there was some quality stuff being played... Back heels, Cruyff turns, one-touch passing.... All under the pressure of a high pressing and aggressive opponent. impressive stuff.

He shoots a clip and sends it to me so l can interpret it and update the live text page. Sod's law says the team score the goals when he's sending me the previous clip. We got the 3rd goal today so that will be in tomorrow's report. |

I take some info from it, subs and suchlike. Mostly it's from Larry's words and v clips. |

No games this weekend. The first team team are the only one's not playing in the GLWFL on Sunday, their booked opponents have a Capital Cup tie and it seems that trumps the league programme. The under 18's game has been stopped by the league, it seems the bottom club, Sussex Girls, don't want to come to Loughton and play against the top club. Not an easy match in prospect for the Sussex teenaged girls I guess. I guess they'll forfeit the three points, they've done it before.Thursday is normally match preview day on lofcwomen.com/items/240307.html but the lack of games has given us the chance to talk about other stuff for a change. Hope you enjoy it....

Not so much about football per se, more about important social work by the club. One of the Women's star players Layla May Duffield spent time in a local school on international women's day and gave encouragement to the girls about playing women's football. Here's a 5 minute YouTube vid.
