I've currently no real idea on who should be playing where aside from the defence. And that's why I didn't feel like we needed to add any more attacking options to the squad.
We now need a period of settling down and working out our best team.

I'd love to know if Joe Piggott touches the ball in training, because I hardly see it happen in matches?

I think Pigott was a panic buy tbh.
We were about to sign Harry McKirdy, until the deal broke down, and he was first choice.
I feel a certain amount of pressure to bring in a number 9 was there within the club, and Pigott was affordable, and was brought here.
He's never going to score many is he? Thats obvious now, leaving us, still, with a goalscoring problem

I have not offered an opinion in Lester since we signed him as I wanted to keep my opinion to myself until he has had a chance to show us what he can do. That has not yet happened due to fitness reasons, once he has a chance to show what he is capable of until then let's get behind him as he's an O.

An excellent comment Thor,I think reserved judgement is the best of replies as it has not been the best of starts for the O's.

I seem to be in a minority but l'm relatively impressed. Not yet effective but he has a good touch and is aware of the circumstances around him. I'm hopeful he will be the forward player RW is looking for. He isn't a target man but can do that job quite well, he isn't a natural goal getter but he'll get as many as anyone else. I put him in the Macca Bonne mold (but better) and will be part of successful scoring moves once all around him is sorted. That means a better attacking midfielder and danger from both wings. Currently, Brown and El Mozouni are too defence minded for Pigott and we only have Archibald doing the biz out wide. When Graham and Agyei get up to speed, Pigott will profit from that. More Sanders and Galbraith in the middle will be another boost.... probably.

And in the past JP has been a natural goal getter, first noticed him when playing for AFC Wimbledon. Better than 1 in 3 for them in League 1. Pretty good.

But the fitness excuse must be wearing a bit thin by now. 7 matches (or part matches) this season is sufficient for him to get up to match fitness and sharpness. Unless we have signed a player with inherent problems. Time to give him some service and support then see what he is capable of, which is far more than he’s had the chance to show so far. He will come good.

He and Orient will play better when we are away from the KBB teams.Looking for much better in future League 1 duels.

Isn't it kick, bite, bollock? An old football saying mainly from the 50s and 60s that I have always heard it said as ''Kick, bollock and bite'' meaning football played with rough, tough players who take no prisoners and plenty of dangerous, fouling etc. Crude long ball football, fighting and brawls on the pitch etc ! Often local football games between deadly rivals descended into KBB !

Fine by me. Nothing against him as I think he is a decent player despite what others may say. The trouble for Joe is our style does not suit his playing style, why we married the two together is beyond me, maybe a Ling panic buy which he isn't so good at.
