Mine was v Scunthorpe march 1968.it was Jimmy Bloomfield's first home game as player manager. We won 2-1 and Vic Halom got both ours. I loved the floodlight pylons in a diamond shape which were so poor orient seemed all orange not red

Beating Leicester in the cup 3-2 in 1964 , Gordon Banks in goal for them and Frank Mclintock also in their side 👍

O's vs Arsenal Div 1 1962. I was 13 and had been an Arsenal supporter. Loved the atmosphere at Brisbane Road that day and Orient became my second team - until good sense prevailed and I dropped the Arse completely a couple of years later. It's been all downhill (and occasionally uphill) ever since ☺

Early-mid 90s. I'm not entirely sure who we played. It was 1-0, but I forget who to. I only remember the opposition goalkeeper swinging from the crossbar, which was a feat only beaten in its magnificence by how high my dad could boot a ball into the air (I'm adamant he once almost hit an aeroplane).
After a bit of sleuthing I think the game must've been our 1-0 home win against Blackpool in 92/93.

Any idea as to who scored for the Os ? I found the programme of that game for sale on ebay for a mere £3.99 or best offer with free post and packing, bargain !
04/01/1964 Leicester City v Leyton Orient [FA Cup]

I don't remember either the first football combination game I went to with my grandad or my first first team game with my dad.
How do you people remember?🤔

Boxing Day, 1986. 2-2 Vs Hereford. Went with my Uncle.
Juryeff with a late equalizer. Not much else I remember.
My first time watching the Os was the 4-1 defeat against West Ham in the cup, but at that time, I was not an Orient fan. So I don't count that.

To further add to my 1968 memories ..dandilions growing by the goal nets..someone kicked a ball wildly,it lodged in a ledge by the gable on the main stand roof.it was there for months On a very rainy day our stadium pa went crazy..ice in the sun by status quo was spitting and farting out! Ha so funny

I looked up the results for that season and you are correct e.g... 01 Feb 1964 Leyton Orient 3 v Middlesbrough 2 !! So what with winning 3-2 away at Leicester City in the FA cup on 4th January 1964, Os had two great results in a space of just one month !

How do you people remember?🤔 Less distractions in those days and no live tv matches except FA cup final and International matches.Although pre European matches Wolves were on a few times against Red Star from half time, probably the reason older folk have a soft spot for Wolves. I remembered my first home game the opponents the season and the result. The other information I got online today. It must have been an Easter Saturday because the day before we beat Torquay at home 4-0.In general I am blessed with a good memory.

Can’t remember. My first game. Dragged along as a young kid sometimes ( preferred to play with mates) and paid little attention. The first game that I remember was our 1-0 home defeat (not much change there either ) against a really good Burnley side in the cup, looked it up 1962. The first time I paid attention, first time I wanted us to win and the first time I felt the bitterness of defeat, (Not the last for damn sure). Thereafter I was hooked and been a regular at Brisbane Road ever since.

I was always a shorty, still am but couldn't afford a box to stand on.Do you remember the faces of defeat of the older fans.I do as it was my soon to be Brother in Law who tragically died at the age of 26.When I visit his grave which is often I always tell him the latest Orient news.

I was at that match and purchased a pirate programme by mistake which was nothing but a team sheet. In the newspaper the next day the headline read The biggest cup robbery since 1895.
