Fine if he had stayed but it is not a massive loss like el mazouni.

Ruel's XG actually isn't much higher than his actual goals scored. Regardless, if in their first season in L1 a 23-year-old gets 11 goals and 5 assists and has been getting themselves in positions where they should probably have scored 10 more, any club is gonna see them as having potential to get 20/25+ goal involvements a season. I don't doubt it's hard for us to compete with how richer clubs might value that.
