This game is being played at half pace. We've had all the possession, Zach put one just over the bar. Pegrum has a shot saved down low to the keepers right.
Howes nearly just gifted them a goal with a poor pass.
Not much else has happened here.

Nice bit if passing in tight conditions on the edge of the box with about 4 players gives perkins a chance which the keeper tips over. I'm watching perkins closely and saying that he's had another shot tipped around the post.
Anyway he's not done much so far, but he is neat and tidy, needs to up his work rate.

DJ off and Monks on at half time.
DJ was being put through the paces at half time, he's a work in progress fitness wise, football wise he did OK actually.
Perkins seems like a luxury player on his first half showing, he wants to go for goal which is good, but didn't put in the yards and certainly.not want Richie expects of his front runners. He has a good touch and moves the ball well between his feet with or without pressure.
Paul Terry and the new geezer are taking the team tonight.
Miles Judd is on for Welling.

DJ is literally blowing smoke out his arse! He ain't fit yet! I think this is systemic of the problem with Charlton last year. Absolutely no discipline and the club was left to run itself. Nathan Jones will sort it out and they'll be up there this season. |
