CF is a must.If Dan A gets injured we are certs to score less goals than games played without him.

We need a potential starting CM and a back up FB, I would also take the risk looking at a young ex academy number 9 that will be used as back up in case the crap hits the fan.
Other than that we are good to go.

Did well with Shaq and El Miz,so good loan signing are possible.Many younger players aching to get the chance to play first team football which they wouldn't with their own club.

Satisfied rather than happy personally. I think ML & Co have done a decent job given the obvious constraints on budget but would have preferred a permanent ‘ keeper rather than a loanee. One or maybe two signings more before the 9th August to provide a bit of squad depth would be reassuring.

We did, but of course some other loans were very poor. Bit of a lottery and not something to rely on. We lack depth, like last season. We will bring in probably a couple of loans before the window closes. We just hope it’s more of Shaq/El Miz variety. But we have a decent squad and trust last year’s injury situation doesn’t repeat itself. As a squad I don’t see us stronger this season yet in a stronger division. Last season injury situation cannot repeat itself, can it? Nah! |

The CF position and LB are the two areas that need looking at. Is Shaq Forde available? I seriously worry where goals are going to come from if Dan A gets injured. Has anyone got Perkins and Kelmans goal stats? I can’t imagine they’d be an encouraging read

I see people are looking for an understudy/cover for Dan Agyei. It sounds a good idea but anyone coming here as 2nd fiddle is only ever going to be an unproved youngster. We couldn't afford another proper striker anyway.

I'm quite happy with our business but all signings are are gamble to a certain extent.I think our season will hinge on keeping Agyei fit for the majority of the season.I think we are another good striker short of being really competitive but with the window still open there's still time

Not much worse than Ruel managed really (1 every 272). |
